"We could not have enjoyed Garden Cottage more! Thoroughly modern and comfortable inside and in a charming, peaceful setting. The staff at Melfort Village were so kind and helpful also. I would recommend this cottage/Melfort Village to anyone."

"Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses.
And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place...

"Sound apartment, spacious, good value for money, well appointed and a pretty view of the harbour. Very low low pressure shower. Poor description of parking as described with parking and none besides difficult public parking options are available. Short stay this was good enough for our family."

"We have stayed several times at Melfort Village and always love it. Friendly staff, comfortable cottages-especially enjoy the log fires-and our dog is welcome although unfortunately the on site restaurant is no longer dog friendly."

"Sadly we only had a very short 1 evening stay at this beautiful location. We would have enjoyed more time here. In that short time we received above and beyond care. I asked where we might be able to find ice when checking in. The nearest market was already closed for the evening. Olwen from reception was so nice. She said she couldn’t promise, but her husband might be able to help. An hour or so later her husband knocked on the door with our special delivery. So incredibly kind. Thank you...
