Beach Fun

The house was perfect for 6 adults and 2 babies. Plenty of room for all of us. The main floor layout is ideal. You can be cooking and still be part of conversations going on in the kitchen or dining area. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong and fishing off the dock. The weather was great so we sat outside on the deck watching the osprey, ducks and geese. Surprisingly there were no bugs to bother us. The beach was only ten minutes away. Easy to get to to catch the sunrise or sunset. There was some seaweed when we swam but you can’t control Mother Nature. It didn’t spoil our fun! I think this was a perfect house for our first family getaway.

The property was located close to beaches and the little beach in the community was great! The children loved the dock and the water. Only drawback was the pool was not free as thought, wanted a fee every day which became costly!

We would recommend

We were happy with this property- all was great except the photos did not match up. There was a bunk bed in the photos and we did not have a bunk bed in the house. That was disappointing-- otherwise, it was great!

Where’s The T.P.??

We drove through the night and arrived early Saturday morning...well aware that we couldn’t check in until 4. We used the extra time to shop and eat at a couple of our favorite restaurants. Arriving at the rental office promptly at 4. Where we were informed that our house still wasn’t ready....I was told (none too nicely)that check in was between 4 & 6. I kind of assumed that gave us a 2 hour window to get there and check in before they closed, apparently not. At this time we were exhausted after being awake for 36 hours and just wanted to get settled down for the week. We waited about 20 more minutes before we got our text that it was ready. The house itself was pretty clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances to cook with. The problem was....there was barely any toilet paper, no trash bags, paper towels, dish detergent or hand soap! I have never stayed anywhere that these weren’t provided. And I’m positive that’s why we found dirty dishes in the cabinets..... the previous renters probably didn’t want to spend their vacation money on cleaning supplies! A very disturbing thought : (! And only getting one towel and one washcloth per person? Laundry had to be done every night! Not what I wanted to do on my vacation!
