Horrific First Impression

Unfortunately our stay at this property got off to a terrible start. The description of the entry to this house on the website is keyless. It is not. There is a lock box where you enter a code to access the key to open the front door. This particular lock was unlike anything I have encountered. It was EXTREMELY hard to open, which was very frustrating because after a long drive one of us was frantic to use the restroom and made it in the nick of time. We then discovered the water had been turned off. To be clear THERE WAS NO WATER (and the toilets would not even flush once because the tanks had been drained). So we called the emergency number and a handyman was sent out. He proceeded to turn on the water. We then discovered THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!! After a long drive we were looking forward to taking a nice hot shower. The handyman said he could not do anything about the hot water as he was not a licensed plumber, which he kept repeating to the point that I wondered if he got an extra 10 every time he said "licensed plumber". So we spent the first night at the house not knowing if we would have to find other accommodations, as we had no idea if the hot water could be easily fixed. Needless to say our stress levels were off the charts. Aren't vacations supposed to be exactly the opposite of that? The next day the management sent out a more qualified person who discovered that the circuit breaker to the hot water heater had been turned off. Not a good start to our vacation.

Great Beach location

We had a beautiful view of the ocean and an easy walk from the house to the water. ( about 200 yards) lots of space. We had 8 adults and 2 teens. Plenty to do and close to many restaurants. We rented a golf cart but it is a very busy area and we did not use it much. My only complaint ( if I had one) is that 4 bedrooms are downstairs with 1 smaller bathroom. The other two bedrooms are upstairs with 2 baths. The living area is very spacious and we had lots of room. They had puzzles and games for a rainy night. The furniture was all in good condition and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Overall we were very pleased with this property!

Active construction site next door

The property was very nice, but there was an active construction site next door with work going on from 7:30 in the morning until after 5:00 in the afternoon. I am in the construction business and there is no way we would have rented this property had we known this was going on. The owner and the property management company both knew there was work going on and should have disclosed it in the listing as we did when the property next to our rental property in Montana was being developed. We were extremely disappointed with the constant banging and let the property manager know (Ned) who took absolutely no responsibility for it or that they should have disclosed it. We will never, under any circumstances use this property management company again. Looking forward to a quiet, peaceful time at the beach and we couldn't use the deck and could hear the banging even when we were on the beach. Very disappointing!!!!

BEAUTIFUL

Perfect location. The house was beautiful and very clean. We plan to return next year. We would highly recommend this house to anyone. I was very surprised and pleased with how clean the house was. We loved setting on the deck watching the waves.

What an amazing vacation

This home was amazing. It had everything we could have needed and more. It rained for two days so we were stuck inside. The kids did just fine because of the house. The property lay out is great. The house is clean and was recently updated. I could not say enough good things about this place!

A great place to stay on the beach

We had a group of 7 adults 2 young children and a baby, and this house was perfect for us. The extended deck in the back was amazing and where we gathered most. The beach is pretty short so the house is the perfect distance from the water and it was an excellent view from the deck. The rooms were quiet and we felt like we had plenty of space. The proximity to the grocery stores, restaurants, and mini golf was nice as well. The only downside is that this house is on a busy road with no sidewalks. Not really a problem though since you spend all your time at the beach anyways. There are 5 solid bedrooms and then 1 one small room with a small twin bed in it that isn’t technically a bedroom but was perfect for our 3 year olds to sleep in. Also, we read another review about the Jolly Roger restaurant playing loud music on a Thursday night. The music was really loud, but they wrapped up their set by 9pm.

The Best Place Ever

I highly recommend this beautiful beach house that can hold a ton of people comfortably. It's steps away from the beach. Beach is beautiful. There are many bedrooms and bathrooms. Very clean. Stocked and functional kitchen. AC works great. One of the best features is the decks. There are two decks with the top deck off the 2nd level living room (where the master bedroom and kitchen are located along with another bedroom and full bathroom). The upper deck is half covered and half open. And there is an amazing view of the ocean, waves, beach, and Avalon pier from that top deck. And comparatively affordable with similar properties. Great place.

Living the Beach Life

TL Sea is a very nice, comfortable property. It was perfectly set up for two couples to have both private a shared space. It could also easily accommodate more. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the ocean from the deck or go directly to the beach which was only steps away. The kitchen was very well equipped and made cooking easy and pleasurable. The only downside, which was no fault of the owners, was the fact that the Jolly Rogers bar/restaurant just across the street had a very loud, very obnoxious band playing (yelling) on the roof on Thursdays, and weekend nights. It was so bad that we were unable to enjoy the deck one of the nights we were there, and the noise even drowned out the TV inside with the windows closed. The noise was scheduled until midnight. We called and I assume other neighbors did as well, and they shut it down earlier. Overall the location of the house is convenient to many restaurants, stores and attractions and yet when you are inside the house or on the deck/beach you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the commercial areas.

Great stay and accurate listing!

We were a family of four needing a last minute getaway and this was perfect (albeit too large!) for our family. The access to the beach was fantastic, and the house itself was clean and well equipped, especially for entertaining! The bathroom situation is likely not wonderful for super large groups, as there is only one bathroom on the floor that has 4 bedrooms, but that didn't apply to us. The kitchen was great, although we wished the knives were sharpened as all but one was not useable, and it was somewhat of an inconvenience that no dishsoap or even handsoap was provided in such a well stocked kitchen. But all around no complaints nor reservations!

Fantastic house!!

Great place!

Awesome beachfront location, quiet and clean. Plenty of space to spread out for 4 adults, a baby and toddler. Well stocked kitchen with modern equipment. Beach chairs, boogie boards, grill, outdoor shower and deck seating galore for enjoying sunrises, sunsets and dolphin watching.
