'BeachDaze Bungalow' is a dazzling, inviting, and well maintained home that has all the comfort, conveniences and relaxing needs for you to enjoy your vacation. BeachDaze' is a short distance distance to the Ocean front or the Sound. This beach cottage is near public boat ramp/dock at the sound and the Avalon fishing pier towards beach. 'BeachDaze' has comfortable décor and all the furnishings so that this can be your home away from home. All you have to do is get HERE!

Come relax on the front porch with 2 Adirondack chairs to enjoy the summer breezes and sunsets. Some of the most amazing and beautiful sunsets on the east coast are right here in the Outer Banks. 2 Bikes to ride along the Sound (.5 miles from home). There is a new paved path along the Sound (1 mile from home), where you can run, walk, or bring your bikes to ride safely along the path. There are also a number of other paved paths going towards Wright Memorial and along the beach road! There is lots of public parking at the ocean front in case you choose to drive.

This cute home has central AC & Heat, full size washer/dryer for your convenience, as well as an hot/cold fully enclosed outside shower, This cottage has two bedrooms, both with queen beds tastefully decorated. The open and airy kitchen is fully equipped so you feel like you’re at home. The kitchen has a pantry and a center island that has 2 stools. There is a wide open living and dining room off the kitchen, which leaves plenty of room for watching TV with Direct TV, Netflix, Hulu and Roku, board games/cards, doing puzzles, reading, and enjoying each other’s company. FREE WiFi if you need to make this a 'working' vacation. There is wall mounted wide screen TV's in the living room and master bedroom as well as the florida room on the lower level.
You will find us in the 200 block of West Avalon Drive in Kill Devil Hills , near milepost 6.

More than we expected

We had a lovely time at the Beach Daze the home itself was clean comfortable and spacious. We were a short bike ride to the beach, and Terry the host was very accessible and helpful

Review

I appreciated the communication with the host and the check in was easy. However the listing shows that there are no pets but unfortunately there was dog hair all over the couch and the carpets, plus there are animal smudges on the glass sliding door. There is mold on the shower curtain and some parts of the shower, the bathroom was a bit dusty and had hair all over the floor plus the shower was never cleaned from the previous guest since there was soap on it. We heard how clean this place was but unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment especially when we have a daughter who has pet allergies.

Awesome home!

The home was extremely clean and so very comfortable. I brought my whole kitchen with me from home and then realized the home is fully stock with ALL of your need. The house is well cared for. Definitely will rent again!!

Peaceful get away

We were very pleased with the clean, bright, spacious well stocked cottage. It was a peaceful neigherhood and we had a delightful neighbor who lives there year round. It was a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. Our daily coffee on the porch was most enjoyable.

Another great stay!

Very short distance to the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella provided really made the experience great for us! And all the comforts of home for those rainy days. Of course, Terry was a great host! Will be back again :)

Had a great time! Comfortable and roomy stay. Easy to settle in and make it home. Minor items: There were a few light bulbs out and areas that appears spot cleaned in bathroom and around the house. Cobwebs in areas.

Great location and value

Located very close to the beach (2 minute drive) and lots of space. The couch looked dirty with stains and many dishes put away had food on them still. We also found several goldfish on the floor when we arrived. Despite the cleanliness issues, it was a great value for the price!

Great stay

We loved the set up of the house and all of the amenities. Despite the rainy week, we had a great time. Very central location to the beach and other activities, stores etc. Nice short walk to the sound and a nice walking trail. Terry was very communicative. My only suggestion would be getting some darker curtains. My husband and I are very much blackout curtain people and the light made it hard to sleep in the morning. Otherwise we’d definitely stay here again.

Lovely beach stay

We had a great time on Avalon drive. We enjoyed walking down to the sound side to see the spectacular sunsets. We loved the set up and ease of checkin and out. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome stay in OBX

We had a wonderful time in the OBX. It was our first time and this location was perfect! We were close to grocery and stores for shopping, a short walk for fishing, and many eateries close by. Being in central OBX made it a 30-60 min drive to far ends of island for the horses and Oregon Inlet. Will definitely stay here when we come back!

Bay side getaway in OBX

The property was nice and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The beach was about a half mile away but crossing Rt 158 on foot did not seem safe, so driving to the beach was necessary. Overall great place to get away and enjoy the beach at.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful House

This house is really nice and beautiful. It is only a few blocks to the beach and very short distance to the bay. I enjoyed staying at BeachDaze. Great communication with Terry. I would come back and stay again.

Spring Escape

It's a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. Building is in good repair and tastefully decorated. A little misleading to say you can walk to the beach. It's not far but you have to cross a very busy 5 lane highway to get there.

First stay at OBX

Terry's house is wonderful. We felt at home when we opened the door. House was super clean and had everything anyone would need. Kitchen very well stocked. Very good location, in the middle of everything. Highly recommend (except 2nd week in October, 😉, hope it will be available this week for years to come). Terry was very responsive when we had a door lock issue. Would give 10 stars if we could.

I loved that you left us an air fryer. Got a perfect steak without having to wait for charcoal!

The cushions on the front porch should be removed or replaced. A little paint on the front steps would make it all more welcoming.
