"This is an old cottage where the décor, although clearly renewed recently, has been kept as if it was the 1950s reminding us of holidays at Grandmas! But it has the addition of all mod cons you might expect - power shower, microwave, satellite TV and internet etc. The Kitchen/diner is separated from the washing up and laundry areas, although all are connected and easy to use. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in.
