"Rough rural property. Shower didn’t work and bathtub slippery and risky for seniors. Beds clean and comfortable and terrace with a lovely view of cow pasture, lots of swallows and birdsong. So — mixed. The Rising Sun restaurant connected was very good and inexpensive."

"The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again."

"Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. "The hotel is located in the center of this small village. A easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The train station is very basic with a platform and a small covered sitting area, for when it is raining. This village has only two taxi's so planning through pre-booking is a must. On the day of our check-out, even after pre-booking, traffic conditions almost side-railed our next leg of our adventure. The hotel's receptionist, I forgot to ask her name, was very instrumental in getting us...
