"The staff and management team were absolutely wonderful. This is a clean, quiet, family-friendly hotel located just outside the busy city center of Leh. The front courtyard is a veritable oasis, beautifully manicured and filled with fruit trees. I will be staying here on my next visit to Leh."

"The manager and staff were absolutely wonderful. We ended up staying a second time when we had to return early from a trip. Location was great because it was away from the busy areas but walkable into Leh Market, etc. in just 10 minutes. Nice family feel to the place, would highly recommend. "

"Its relatively new property. Staff is helpful. RO water refills are available for free in glass bottles. Manager helped us plan the itinerary and he and his front desk staff always remained eager to help us with permits, sight seeing, info on shopping, local cuisine and places to go. "

"I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old. The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh. "

"I went to Leh towards end of January for a peaceful retreat, the staff of this hotel made my experience amazing. They helped me plan the perfect itinerary and arranged for transportation. The amenities of the hotel made my stay comfortable. The location is convenient (2 mins walk to the main market). I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are planning a trip to Leh."

"I had an incredible 4 day stay at Leh Stumpa. The establishment is run by a very caring and loving family. I was well taken care of for any needs I had right from accessories to arranging taxis and transportation. Despite so many food options nearby I exclusively stuck to their fresh delicious home made breakfast and dinner (even though my stay rate didn’t originally include those) which had new options daily. "Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DM’s office which helped us move forward with our trip. "A very simple property in Leh but really good value. And the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. They even stored our luggage for us as we went for an 8-day trek. The location is also perfect for exploring the main downtown plaza. Simple facilities but the staff more than make up for this."
