Rustic Cabin in the Mountains, Minutes to Keystone Resort

Welcome to the perfect ski cabin for you and your guests! Your next outdoor adventure awaits at this 3 BR, 2 BA rustic cabin located just 10 minutes from Keystone Resort! This cabin offers a true Colorado experience in the heart of Summit County and is surrounded by landscape and mountain views in a "locals" neighborhood. In the winter, enjoy the views from the deck as you sip your coffee or apres' drinks. Cozy up to the fireplace in the lower level living area while others enjoy snacks and hot chocolate in the kitchen area above. The Cabin is pet friendly and offers plenty of outdoor space with an uphill backyard, corn holes, and several board games for kids.

The upper level of this home features a spacious living area with TV, adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, each with a Queen size bed and full bathroom in the hall. Open to the kitchen and living area is the covered upper deck with plenty of seating, gas grill and views of the surrounding mountain peaks. The deck is perfect for year round outdoor living, chilling and star gazing. Downstairs is another living area with a gas fireplace and TV and plenty of seating. The downstairs bedroom has a King size bed and full bathroom. There is a den with Twin bed plus twin trundle.With the Twin bed and twin trundle this home can accomodate up to 8 guests.

Outside there is a private driveway with parking for up to 4 vehicles. The yard area is wooded with pine and aspen trees and plenty of space for kids, dogs or adults to play outside summer or winter. Just minutes to Lake Dillon, Keystone Ski Resort, downtown Dillon, shops and restaurants in Silverthorne, plus I-70 within 10 minutes for easy access. Head over Swan Mountain Rd to be in Breckenridge in 15 minutes. This is a perfect cental location, yet tucked away in a quiet wooded neighborhood.

This cozy and quaint cabin is perfect for a weekend away on the mountains - whether you be skiing, hiking, boating, cycling, the activities here are endless. Other surrounding ski resorts include A-Basin, Loveland, Copper, Breckenridge and Vail. This property is pet friendly upon approval. 2 pet maximum and a pet fee applies after booking. Please refer to rental agreement after booking for full rules applying to pets.

Peace and Quiet

This place was located in a quiet neighborhood and had privacy. We stayed here because it was minutes away to other mountain towns and escaped the city heat. The only thing that was weird for us is that the house was listed on the market on our second to last day and the night before we had a lady in our driveway taking videos and not explaining what was going on and we weren’t notified of this happening to be aware. Would recommend, but looks like they are selling!

Great stay besutiful cabin

The only problem we had , the refrigerator did not to seem to cool properly, there should be more fans in the cabin,would be nice if the downstairs bathroom would have a door you can lock and a nice big mirror would be nice to have downstairs . Everything else was great . We loved it .

Christmas skiing

Lovely house, lots of extras including lots of games. Really close to Silverthorne and the outlet shopping centre. Supermarkets and bars/ restaurants within a short drive. Lovely Christmas tree and twinkle lights which made our Christmas break even more special. The host was excellent booking a Christmas Day meal for us.

A great value

The cabin was spotless and very well stocked with everything you could need. Location is fantastic. This a spacious cabin and for the price, a very good deal. There were some downsides like worn out furniture in the main living area that made lounging in the upstairs less comfortable and the largest bed was unbearably hard (and I like a hard bed) but these were known and documented in other reviews so not surprising to me. Downstairs couch is better as are the beds in the other two rooms. Despite the furniture condition upstairs and larger bed being unusable to us, I still give the cabin 5 stars because what you do get for the money is pretty unbeatable for the area, and it is a really nice cabin all in. Communication with the property manager was also quick and easy over text. We were allowed in early which was a nice touch as well.

Fall stay

It was a nice place to stay for a fall weekend. The beds were decent, the recliner needs replaced, and they had a lot of utensils and plates which was nice. The balcony was the best part for the kids and dog with gates.

Some Pros, some cons!

We stayed at this cabin for 2 weeks. Here are the pros & cons for us (others may not be troubled by the few things that troubled us.) PROS: Nice appliances, beautiful floors, great view, nice deck with a gate to keep pets contained, numerous hooks on the walls for jackets etc., key cup by the lower door, nice trails in area, night lights in bathrooms & hallways, great location near bike trails, hiking trails, golf courses & shopping areas. CONS: uncomfortable king bed mattress (we bought a 3” foam top to help with comfort, minimal lamps…mostly ceiling lights, only one nightstand in most bedrooms, very little countertop space for prepping, propane is supplied but if it runs out you need to replace & this wouldn’t have worked for us since the canister is heavy & we would not have been able to lug up the steps.

Outstanding Mountain Home

We loved everything about this home! As a former VRBO property owner of a beach house, we know how hard it is to maintain a rental property and keep it well stocked - kitchenware, pans, outdoor grill, bathroom amenities, etc. We appreciate that the house had everything we needed. We came to Colorado for the outdoor activities. There was hiking, rafting, horseback riding, kayaking, etc. in the immediate area (0 - 30 minutes away). As a bonus, we enjoyed some nice restaurants and nearby shopping.

Great Cabin for our Mountain Vacation!

We recently stayed at Summit Mountain Properties' cabin near Keystone, Colorado, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we booked our stay, the communication with Summit Mountain Properties was top-notch. They were responsive, accommodating, and made sure all our questions were promptly answered. The cabin itself was charming, cozy, and well-maintained. One of the things we appreciated the most was the ample supply of essentials provided by Summit Mountain Properties. From fresh linens and towels to a well-stocked kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils, they truly made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and easy access to outdoor activities. We loved every moment of our time at the cabin and cannot wait to return. Thank you, Summit Mountain Properties, for a memorable and delightful stay!

Great stay in Summit Cove

This place was spacious and had everything we needed for the weekend. The only minor points that could've improved would be the comfort of the beds and a second key, since large groups with multiple vehicles may have people coming in and out at different times during their stay. I texted the number provided about a second key and never got a response. We loved how they provided us with the essentials like paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, garbage bags, and laundry detergent/dish wash detergent. I know that seems like a basic thing but that stuff is not always available at other properties, so we were very grateful! Some members did not get the most quality sleep due to the beds not being the most comfortable, which would probably be the biggest piece of criticism. Otherwise it was a great quality stay!

Sweetest little cabin

This was the cleanest, cutest cabin! Fit our group of friends perfectly and our sweet 8 year old pup. We also met the owner who so graciously was shoveling all the snow that fell the night before. Also, it was the cutest neighborhood and already trying to book the place again. Had everything we needed and then some (a little basket of toddler dishes as well).

Beautiful Clean cabin

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was extremely clean! New beautiful appliances. Didn’t get to use the gas stove but it looked fantastic! Next time:) The beds upstairs were very comfortable. Lots of blankets and pillows. The king bed downstairs was very firm.

So Comfortable!

The Cabin presented itself as everything as stated in the description. Beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the living areas were exemplary! Surprisingly, we were treated to beautiful star gazing. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would return in the future.

Comfy Cabin

Had a relaxing time in a very pleasant cabin. We had beautiful weather the entire time. The accommodations were superb. Everything we needed and then some. We appreciate your positive response to our early check in request. ***the igniter on the grill does not work. Need to use a candle lighter. No problem though.

Great communication. Nice location. Felt secluded enough yet not far from things. Lots of games. Also had everything you could want for cooking, etc. Had more than the typical VRBO property we have stayed at in the past as far as that has gone. Highly recommended.

Nice weekend getaway

The cabin was a perfect place for our quick weekend getaway. There were 8 of us and the cabin accommodated all of us. Liked the upstairs and downstairs living room as teens had a place to hang out and watch movies. Would definitely return on another trip.
