The Space:

Welcome to Elkhorn Cabin, a modern retreat in the heart of Keystone. This single level home features an open concept living area with high ceilings and large windows that frame stunning mountain views. The living room includes a comfortable sofa bed for additional guests. There are two private bedrooms, each furnished with a plush queen bed, and two full bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary needs, complete with a dining table for shared meals. Step outside to the expansive patio, which offers outdoor seating, a gas BBQ grill, and a relaxing hot tub. You can also enjoy the propane fire pit under the stars. The cabin is designed for comfort with air conditioning, heating, and a laptop friendly workspace.



Guest Access:

You will have full and private access to this entire single level home during your stay. This includes two comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dedicated dining area. Outside, you are free to enjoy your own private patio, perfect for relaxing after a day of mountain adventures. Guests also have exclusive use of the outdoor fire pit and barbecue grill area, along with convenient free parking on the premises.

Within walking distance, you can discover local dining spots and charming shops that capture the authentic spirit of South Dakota. Whether you are here for hiking, cycling, or simply enjoying the mountain views from your private patio, our location serves as the ideal home base for your adventures.



Getting Around:

To make the most of your stay at Elkhorn Cabin, we highly recommend arriving by car. The Black Hills are best explored at your own pace, and having a personal vehicle provides the flexibility to visit iconic sites like Mount Rushmore, which is just a short ten minute drive away. While parking can be a challenge in the heart of Keystone, you will enjoy the convenience of free private parking right on the premises. Please note that public transportation options in this mountain area are very limited, so planning to drive is the most efficient way to travel from Rapid City Regional Airport, which is approximately a forty five minute drive from the cabin.



Other Things to Note:

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, please note that check in time is at 16:00 and check out time is at 10:00. This is a smoke free property and we do not allow pets. The minimum age for booking is 18 years old. Please be aware that events and parties are strictly prohibited. We provide free private parking on the premises for your convenience. As we are located in the mountains, we recommend arriving by car to fully explore the Black Hills area.
