"Clean! Great spacious house. Laundry, clean towels and sheets, shampoo/soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, coffee filters all supplied. Important to note that the house is on top of a mountain down a steep single lane dirt road. Definitely take the 4 wheel drive and would be hairy in the winter. Cell service is nonexistent but WiFi makes communication possible. Nearest stores are 15mins away so highly recommend a grocery run before arrival. Great getaway spot. "

"Cabin was very cozy with comfy beds and furniture. We blocked the spiral staircase to keep the dogs safe. We enjoyed the deck, and spent time in Shenandoah National Park. We visited the clay festival. Great weather! Nice visit!"

"Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area."

"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"The stay was great!! The upstairs, WOW!! Highly recommend staying here. Virginia was great to work with. We will be back. The only complaint if there is one would be you are in the back yard of a rental house. It’s not private as the picture leads you to believe. But we will be back! "

"Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!"

"Property was very picturesque with fantastic views and the Appalachian Trail is within walking distance. Very restful and rejuvenating atmosphere…plenty of peace and quiet and local wildlife. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. This place was everything I expected and more. Would definitely return to visit again! "

"We had three families sharing the house for a long weekend on the lake. It was a great size for our group of 11, with plenty of space for everyone. Mark (the owner) was especially responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and staying in touch throughout for any questions/issues.The house has great lake access on a quieter area of the lake with ample space for boat tie ups at the dock. We very much enjoyed our stay!"

"Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 﫣☹️"
