"Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! "The house is lovely and well appointed with trash bags, TP, and paper towels which was a nice surprise. The view is amazing and exactly as shown. The host was extremely responsive to all inquiries. The hot tub did have a bit of a musty smell the second day... not sure how often chlorine is added, but it worked well and was actually hot which is not always the case with rentals. Some reviewers have commented on the road to the house but if you've ever lived in the mountains it is nothing you...
