New Modern House in Sonoma Valley's Best Area

Our modern house, which sleeps four in two separate spaces (a bedroom and a large office) has everything you could ask for when visiting the wine country: expansive decks, outdoor furniture and a high-end grill to enjoy the outdoors. Our living room has contemporary furniture with glass, accordion doors that bring the outside in. Great views of lots of open space. WiFi enabled. Enjoy our wireless Sonos stereo system. Stream a movie using NetFlix or Amazon Prime. (Unfortunately, we do not have cable channels. )

The house, equipped with air conditioning, has plenty of privacy and shares two acres with a main house, which is next door. It's set amongst California live oaks and Bay trees. A ā€œwinterā€ creek runs through the property. We have redtail hawks, wild turkeys, deer and the occasional fox. Take a walk down the quiet country lane or better yet, bring bikes and enjoy one of Sonomaā€™s best biking regions. We are in walking distance of one of Sonomaā€™s best regional parks, Annadel State Park. Historic Jack London State Park is only 15 minutes by car and Sugarloaf State Park is 10 minutes away.

The cute town of Kenwood is only five minutes by car. Glen Ellenā€™s top rated restaurants are 15 minutes and the downtown of Sonoma is 25 minutes. Quiet and secluded, the house is also just minutes from some of Sonoma Valleyā€™s best and most picturesque wineries, including Ledson, Kunde and St. Francis.

A lovely modern house; well equipped, well appointed and decorated with a wonderfully eclectic mix of artworks and ornaments. A perfect base for exploring the region but beware - the house is so nice you may not want to go further than the deck.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely vacation rental on a beautiful property in the country. It was quiet and peaceful. The deck presented a good place to sit and appreciate nature. The inside of the house was clean, neat, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The host was kind and accommodating and replied quickly to our questions. I hope to return one day because it was such a great place to stay.

We were so impressed with this home from the moment we stepped through the door. Huge windows let lots of light into the living area and lead out to a wraparound balcony. There's two very good-sized bedrooms with loverly comfy beds. The whole place is spotlessly clean with quality linens and towels. We had a fabulous 10 day stay and would definitely love to return when we are next in the Sonoma Valley.

This Kenwood spot is heavenly!!! The house is set on a lovely site with beautiful trees and an open field with a little creek meandering by. Lots of birds and birdsong too. Itā€™s private while also open to wonderful nature views. Just perfect! The house is wonderful too; great design, comfortable, and well appointed in every way. Weā€™ll definitely try to come back.

I loved the cleanliness of the property, and found that it was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was incredibly peaceful, but close enough to action for a fun day out. I would definitely return again.

Very modern and chic style building- beautiful living space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a n interesting meadow and burbling creek. Very clean and comfortable- had everything you would need. Easy access to local restaurants and wineries. Would definitely recommend.

Ericā€™s house and location is amazing. From the wildlife that walks past the full length sliding doors, the stream that runs through the property to the close proximity to all the many vineyards in the Sonoma and Napa region. Eric leaves a detailed list of all the activities and dining the area has to offer. A must stay.

ITS A BIT OUT OF THE WAY, but we loved the setting being out in nature, so it was worth the extra drive on narrow roads, to wineries and shopping. We got used to it vand adapted very nicely. the house was very clean , modern, and well appointed with all the basic necessities. the host was very kind and attentive. I liked that we were able to leave at 11. We plan to come back in future trips.

We read all the reviews for the property and were skeptical about how so many of them enjoyed the place.The place was beautiful! They have have a modern yet simplistic touch. Everything we want was in the house. Good heating and cooling. Kitchen was stocked with good applicants.We truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved this very clean, contemporary home surrounded by beautiful countryside. Everything you could want was available in the well-equipped kitchen, as well as a grill on the deck to sit out and dine on. Expansive views of the surrounding property from floor to ceiling sliders brought the outside in. The dark night sky was a show in itself. The owners were very responsive to any questions. They provided good information on the property both before and after the easy check-in, so minimal questions were needed. This was one of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever had in a rental, helping to make the week fly by! Would definitely recommend, and hope to return!

Loved this little get-away in an amazing location! Driving up country roads with red and gold vineyards on your right and left in autumn was amazing. And yet, so close to all the best Sonoma wineries!!! The house itself was thoughtfully decorated, with all you need for a wonderful Sonoma escape. We will definitely be back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the modern glass house. It was one of the highlights of our Sonoma Valley vacation. The house was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was quiet and secluded, surrounded by deer and wild turkeys. There are a plethora of vineyards near the house and it is easy to get to many locations from the house. I highly recommend staying here and I would love to book this home again when I return.
