Modern, private guest house in Kenwood
We had an amazing time and highly recommend this property! This private guest house shares two acres with a main house, which are located in a rural, quiet and peaceful area just minutes from Kenwood and Glen Ellen. The house is also just minutes from some of Sonoma Valley’s best wineries and restaurants. The house is clean, modern and nicely appointed with comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and spacious living room which includes a fireplace. There’s a great outdoor deck where you can grill or just relax and take in the beautiful, natural surroundings. You might even see some wild life including hawks, wild turkeys and deer. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful clean house in a scenic setting
This house is exactly as pictured. The beautiful windows offer great views and we saw both deer and a fox while we were there. It is a bit out of the way and expect to drive 15-20 minutes to get to a decent sized grocery store. We really enjoyed all the games and had great meals in the kitchen. There are some trailheads right in the area that we enjoyed as well as a great hike at sugarloaf. Many wineries within a 15 minute drive. Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay!
We loved our stay in Kenwood! It was perfect for two couples, and having two bathrooms was great. Beds were super comfy, the kitchen is fully appointed, and the fridge having a water filter is always a great bonus. The location was great for exploring different wineries. We would absolutely stay again next time we are in California!

We stayed here and had visited the Chateau st. Jean for wine tasting and walked the trails at Sonoma Botannical garden. This home was very clean, modern, lots of patio to sit in the rocking chair and enjoy nature. The neighbors are spaced far apart so it was quiet and relaxing. The WELCOME booklet had detailed instructions on how to work the fireplace, dish washer, tv etc which came in handy. It was the perfect adults only getaway.

Peaceful place to welcome new year
I loved the green meadow, gentle hills, and the babbling brook right next to this very comfortable new home. Sit outside, watch the great variety of birds, listen to the brook, breath in the clean air - just what the soul wanted. Come inside and enjoy comfortable, light and bright space.

Fabulous Home in Tranquil Location
What an Amazing property! We spent our Thanksgiving at Eric's home and we were astounded at how cozy and homey this house was. So relaxing and peaceful! Waking up in the morning to the sun streaming in through the glass walls overlooking the gorgeous grounds and trees was an absolute pleasure. The whole house was very well appointed, from the comfortable beds to all the closet space and the stylish artwork on the walls. Great & spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Fantastic living room with the fireplace and top-notch television made enjoying Turkey Day football outstanding. But above all, was the chefs kitchen...and this is coming from a chef. Everything I needed to do Thanksgiving was there and high end. Thanks Eric! Once again, Amazing! We'll be back to enjoy the wrap-around deck and outdoor grill!

Beautiful modern house
The house was just nice for my family of 3. It was very clean, and was tastefully decorated. We used the outdoor grill every night and enjoyed just chilling out indoors everyday. Eric communicated very well and offered us the use of his Nespresso machine from the other modern house located next door.

Great Getaway
This was a mother/daughter trip to celebrate moms bday. Home is beautifully set in the back hills of various vineyards. Very quiet, quaint, and modern decor. All amenities were top notch and high quality. We loved our time at this home and would definitely stay here again.

The best vacation rental I've stayed in...other than maybe my own.
The place was perfect. Isolated but still close enough to activities. Clean and well equipped. Comfortable bedding. Great indoor/outdoor feel. Would definitely like to be a repeat guest!

Incredible, secluded, and modern home! We saw plenty of deer, wild turkeys, and long-eared rabbits. The home and amenities are beautiful. We were able to visit Napa Valley, Sonoma, and the surrounding cities. The vineyards were incredible!

Anniversary
This was the perfect place for a week of relaxation and a launching point for lots of beautiful local walks/hikes and great restaurants. We enjoyed mornings on the expansive porch with a cup of coffee and a wildlife parade. With the large sliders, we enjoyed indoor/outdoor living throughout the day. We'll definitely be returning to this gem in Kenwood.

Retreat yet close to everything
This was a perfect spot, just off the path but had all the modern essentials. It’s peaceful and quiet, yet driving distance to anything you need. We didn’t get to explore the trails or go for a run, but seemed like many great options. Priced well and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Eric for being a great host.

Distinct home and location

Perfect location;
We enjoyed being immersed in nature and yet minutes from great dinning, shopping, and touring wine region. Property is as described, pristinely clean, well equipped including soap, shampoo, and paper products, and bedding is very comfortable. We had a small issue at check in which was resolved by owner immediately. HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Serenity in Wine Country
Our family enjoyed staying at this brand new home in the heart of Sonoma. After a day of wine tastings, we relaxed on the deck watching deer in the yard and warmed up to the fireplace in the modern living room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine and was very attentive to any questions or needs we had. You will love your stay here.

We love this home!
We just stayed at this home for the second time, and hope to be back again! It is beautifully designed as well as comfortable. And we love the wrap-around windows that make you feel like you are in the middle of nature. We also love the Kenwood location with easy access to lots of Sonoma wineries and restaurants. It is down an kinda windy back road which might not be for everyone - but for us it adds to the charm. Yes, we drove by goats and alpacas every day! Finally, the owner could not be easier to communicate with - very responsive.

I would stay here again!
The photos don't do this house justice - this was the most BEAUTIFUL place I've stayed in! My friends and I were looking for a quaint house with beautiful views and that's exactly what we got here. The place was super clean and Eric was very responsive. Extra shoutout for the bottle of wine he left us to enjoy! The huge windows made the mornings idyllic. There were deer and wild turkey right outside the house next to the creek. I didn't wan't to leave. I cannot wait for the next time I come back to Sonoma because I will absolutely be staying here again.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!
We loved our house tucked in the hills. The house looks just as pictured / described in the listing. The property manager was in touch with us about check in procedures, etc. and was quick to respond when we had questions. The house was cozy, clean, and set in a beautiful location. We were there during the rain storms; I only wish we could have enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck and taking in the landscape. Would definitely recommend to others.

Dream location in the heart of Sonoma
This was the best vacation rental I have ever had. The property is pristine and the home is well appointed beyond anything you could imagine. The home has every amenity you could need while traveling. The property is within a short driving distance to some of the best wineries and restaurants in Sonoma Valley. We visited Jack London State Park, Napa, and nearby Glen Ellen. This is a vacation we will never forget and we hope to return in the future. The host was very responsive when needed and gave us our privacy otherwise. Top notch host and wonderful accommodations!

We stayed here for the first time for a week back in April. We were so impressed that we came out again with a couple we usually travel with and when the week was over we all agreed this would be our new head quarters for our future trips to the wine country. Almost don't want to leave a review for fear this gem might become impossible to reserve! We had the long cross-country trip from Philly, delayed by storms in a connection in Phoenix, which brought us to the property well after dark. Delightfully remote and secluded, opening the door and seeing a welcoming gift from the owner, viewing the inside for the first time was an outstanding initial experience. Clean, modern, fresh, well appointed with personal effects that added to the house's personality made for a destination in paradise! The next morning, sun comes up, deer are out back, hummingbirds all over, and the beginning of an outstanding trip. Want isolation? This is an ideal place to call home. But still close to great amenities in Glen Ellen and Kenwood, easy shot to Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Napa, Armstrong State Park, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach. Jump on the SMART train/ferry to head into San Fran - save a huge bundle on time, parking, gas, etc. But don't miss the local attractions - Jack London State Park is a great way to get your steps in. Infinite number of vineyards within stone's throw make for numerous ways to spend an afternoon. Try Coursey Graves - and enjoy the drive! Back to the house, much thanks to the owner (leaving name out for privacy purposes) for offering such a quality experience. We will most definitely plan to return to this place if it is available on our next trip!
