Tranquility in Kenwood
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda in April. The property was lovely and perfectly located near our favorite wineries and morning lattes from VJB.

Fantastic Hacienda
The property was amazing. Clean, well stocked (very well stocked), walkable to some wineries/tasting rooms. Only 25 minutes to downtown Sonoma. The bedrooms were great, as were the kitchen and common areas. It was very nice to sit outside and watch a game on bocce. We would most definitely come back again sometime.

Amazing place in wine country
If you’re are planning a central location around Napa and Sonoma wine country you need to stay here! Absolute amazing property and the owner/host is incredibly hospitable as well. 5 star on everything. Only problem was our schedule was so busy visiting wineries we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked to.

Lovely piece of paradise
What a fun stay we had in Kenwood. Great location in between Santa Rosa and Sonoma. This house was luxurious for two couples; with two master suites for each couple. Perfect! Wish we had a longer stay with you.

Fabulous wine country retreat
Hacienda Sonoma was the perfect home base for our long weekend —so convenient and close to great wineries and restaurants — and Bridget was really proactive and helpful. The bedrooms are very comfortable and private, the kitchen incredibly well stocked whether you’re just planning to make breakfasts, grill, or prepare a full gourmet meal. (We did all 3!). And the Bocce court and pool table were a fantastic treat at the end of day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - we hope to come back again!

Great property and location
We truly enjoyed our stay at Hacienda Sonoma. The home is large and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. The owners were very responsive and they do an excellent job regarding details on their home and the area. This is by far one of the nicest rentals that we have enjoyed!

Happy at Hacienda
Beautiful home and property. Kitchen totally stocked with anything you might need. Bridgett was delightful. We loved staying at Hacienda Sonoma and hope to return when the lavender is in bloom. Don't miss the wine tasting at BWise in their incredible cave.

Thank you, Sherri, for the nice review! Ooh yes, B. Wise caves are incredible! Repris is not far from there, and equally amazing! If you didn't get to that one this time, put it on the to-do list for next time! The third week of June is the peak of our lavender season. Those 550 lavender plants are intoxicating!

Fabulous house and location
The stay here for 3 couples was amazing! The house is beautiful and we were able to enjoy the mornings with a cup of tea outside and play some bocce ball. Bridget recommend a private chef; she was fantastic! She cooked the 4 course meal in the beautiful, well stocked kitchen ….delicious! Bridget also recommended Mayo family reserve for wine and food pairing. This was truly a highlight of our five day trip. The tasting room is within walking distance. Bridget was so gracious and helpful. Quick responses and answered all our questions. Great place to stay can’t wait to get to wine country again

Paradise in Wine Country
Hacienda Sonoma is everything it advertises to be and more. The home is beautiful with bountiful gardens surrounding it. Bridget has provided everything needed to make for a perfect vacation. It's in a central Sonoma County location that makes it easy to travel it from one end to the other. One bonus we took advantage of was to have one of the chefs Bridget recommended to come in and make dinner for us. Chef Travis Gee and his wife Lanni were simply amazing and provided an unbelievable meal for us. He suggested some wines to pair with his dishes and it was perfect. Don't miss out on this opportunity. We hiked, tasted wine, ate out (The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma is awesome) and relaxed. We recommend this property as highly as possible.

Lavender and Roses
Our group enjoyed this property, particularly the stunning flower garden enclosing the outdoor space. This home served as a central base for us to explore farther afield - Sugarloaf State Park, Jenner Headlands, Armstrong Redwoods Reserve, Bodega Bay, Muir Woods, Point Reyes Seashore. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. A lovely stay!

Napa / Sonoma getaway at Hacienda Sonoma
The Hacienda Sonoma was top notch in all aspects. From the very initial inquiry until the day we checked out Bridget was helpful, informative, responsive, etc. and really made this experience seamless and easy. The house itself is incredible, the perfect place for our group of two couples. We used the full service kitchen, sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens, did some reading in front of the working fireplace, played a few rounds on the bocce court, and even did some laundry. The place has everything you need. Would highly recommend as a very nice property and ideal place to stay while exploring the valleys.

Amazing stay at Hacienda Sonoma
We first planned this trip for March of 2020, then there was Covid! Bridget was so awesome to continually work with us for rescheduling of our trip that finally happened 18 months later than originally planned. Off the chart hospitality, super clean house, great neighborhood, proximity to some amazing tasting rooms and wineries (don't miss out on The Mayo Reserve Room, it's a must do!). Great kitchen and dining room, we tried out the pizza oven outside and it worked well and we had fun doing it. All in all, we HIGHLY recommend a stay at Hacienda Sonoma!

Amazing!
My wife and I along with 2 other couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We arrived during the week the rain came but we still had a great time even though we didn’t get in game of bocce ball in the backyard. Bridget did a great job communicating with us along the way and her recommendations were very helpful. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to have a return trip!

AMAZING!!!!!
Hacienda Sonoma was everything we expected based on the photos and more!!! It was a GREAT location between Sonoma and Napa with wineries, restaurants and grocery within a minutes walk from the house. The house has EVERYTHING you could ever need, including the kitchen which was well-stocked with all the cooking pans/utensils/spices you could need. The fig tree was a pleasant surprise with ripe figs ripe ready for the picking and so tasty!! Bridget was a great communicator before and during the stay and made everything run very smoothly. We would stay here again in a heart beat. But longer... we didn't get to stay in and enjoy the house as much as we would have liked!

Beautiful Hacienda Sonoma
Hacienda Sonoma was the perfect place for us to stay during our visit to the Sonoma area. Bridget provided such thorough information about the home and lots of good info about things to do in the area. She was easy to get ahold of when we had questions. The house is beautiful and is perfect for those looking for a lovely, quiet place to stay in a charming small town. We spent lots of time on the gorgeous patio and enjoyed using the pizza oven. It was fun to be close enough to walk to a number of tasting rooms and restaurants. We would definitely recommend Hacienda Sonoma!

We celebrated a friend’s 50th birthday in wine country and had a fabulous experience in this beautiful home. Bridget, the owner, was very responsive and communicative and shared much information about the house and things to do nearby; and the house is fully equipped and has so many spaces to relax in both inside and out. She even helped us find a personal chef for a special birthday dinner. Five stars for sure!

Wine Country Oasis!
After a year of no travel a small group of friends celebrated our vaccines and a 50th Birthday by taking a road trip through Wine Country on the way to Palm Springs. This house was perfect for having the quiet time to just hang out, cook, catch up and have plenty of space to spread out. It is also walking distance to many wineries and we enjoyed some of the best tastings within a 10 minute walk. The house is beautiful and has so many great amenities that we took full advantage of... a gourmet kitchen, bar/game room where the guys played pool while the girls relaxed downstairs on the outdoor living space enjoying wine and conversation. The pizza oven was a great perk which we enjoyed and the instructions for use were detailed and much appreciated. The bocce court didn't get used, but just because we ran out of time. Most importantly the host Bridget was so helpful before and during the trip. Just a delight to work with and we will be back again!

A gorgeous healing NorCal gem
This gorgeous impeccably maintained home was the perfect getaway after California opened up for short term rentals again. The property is a gem of NorCal life: it's close to several beautiful trail-rich state parks, boasts stunning night skies (minutes awar is the Sugarloaf Ridge State Park with the Robert Ferguson Observatory letting you hike AND look through telescopes), AND it's in the beating heart of wine country, with many tasting rooms with nuanced hard-to-find viticulture within walking distance. Our kids LOVED the game room, pool table and outdoor bocce ball court. The communication and support from the host Brigid was amazing, as was her compassion and kindness towards our family. After a bruising pandemic year, we found much needed peace and healing here as a family.

Beautiful and Peaceful
Highly recommend Hacienda Sonoma. The property is beautiful, welcoming, and sparkling clean. Fantastic access to hiking trails and, upon your return, the perfect outdoor area for dining and a beverage. Oh, and of course some friendly rounds of bocce We frequently rent VRBO homes and this one is on the favorite list.

Great property, convenient location, super-attentive host
If I could, I would have kept this gem for myself. But since we had such a great time, I know that I should give credit where it's due. It's a quiet, beautiful, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully maintained property that would make your great vacation at Sonoma even better. After my fair share of staying at "it's-still-good-let's-take-it-to-our-rental-property" or "new-from-IKEA" houses, I can say that this property looks and feels as a luxury summer house that someone would make for oneself to enjoy. We didn't have any issues that required help, but even in a day-to-day course of our vacation it didn't feel like we were left on our own (as you are sometimes when staying at private properties): the owner made sure to update us on the matters that could be important to us (not related to the property). All-in-all, we and our friends enjoyed our stay at the property, and we hope to come back there one day.

All the amenities and a great host
The property owner, Bridget, is incredibly organized and thoughtful. She has thought of every detail to help ensure your vacation is worry free. Her home is nicely appointed, clean and perfectly maintained. It is centrally located along the Sonoma County corridor if you would like to visit a number of towns and vineyards during your stay.

Fabulous home
We had a great time in wine country. The house was fabulous. We (3 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kenwood. We spent an entire day at the house enjoying the outside grill and wonderful property. The location is excellent, with restaurants, market, and wineries a short walk away.

Plenty of space for two or three couples with a professionally designed garden. Plenty of kitchen wares for entertaining. Owner makes an effort to make sure you are comfortable and have information to do things in and around Sonoma. We found several great wineries and restaurants within walking distance. Walked in the hills nearby and bike riding in and around Sonoma.

Great Sonoma getaway
This is a beautifully landscaped home, perfectly located an easy stroll from several nice wineries. Packed with games for young and old (we enjoyed games of pool every night and bocce ball before dinner), the house is fully equipped for lavish entertaining, but is equally comfortable for the chill family hang-out. My only caveat is that the kids' room upstairs, although charmingly decorated with a camp theme, has no windows. I would not want to have little ones staying there. Since we didn't need that room, however, we simply closed the door.

Fantastic location, Fantastic accommodations
The home was well equipped with everything a group would need while staying there. Vineyards and wineries were within walking distance as stated. The accommodations were perfect for our group of five. We felt very much at home. We enjoyed the outside spaces. It felt as if we did not even have neighbors all the flowers, vines, trees and bushes surrounded us. Would highly recommend Hacienda Sonoma to all. Close to Sonoma, Glenn Ellen and so many vineyards all within a short driving distance. We could not visit as many places that were available and close. Stay for a week next time. We hired a chef to come in and prepare dinner as would do it all over again. Bridget was wonderful to work with, very helpful with everything and all questions were answered.

Beautiful home in a perfect location!
Lovely home with everything you need for a wonderful vacation! The grounds were lovely even for the time of year we visited (Feb.-Mar.). The owners have provided all you need and more! The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight! Several wineries were within walking distance and Napa is a short 30 minute drive. We loved the location as well as the home. Highly recommend this property!
