"Breakfast was good and the area around the property felt safe. The outside was nice and bright, but inside was very dark and showing its age. We weren’t expecting the Ritz, but it was definitely below the standard we’re used to for the area. We visit family in Kelso 2-3 times a year and have stayed in 7-8 different hotels that all felt better than this location. Our biggest issue was the cleanliness. "Breakfast was pretty good, close to grocery store, we loved mini golf up that way. My only complaint was there was absolutely 100% someone smoking in the first floor, less the 30 feet from the front desk when we arrived, was pretty stinky."

"The staff is very friendly. We stayed here last year as well for the NWAC championships. The rooms are updated and clean. Nice breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee."

"Bare room with bed and tv. Shower was gross. Deck and stairs poorly unkept. Very noisy with traffic and people visiting outside. Bed very bad. I know you get what you pay for, but this was bad."

"The front desk staff was amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate. The pool hours in my opinion could’ve been a little bit longer. We are disappointed. The hot tub was closed since that’s one of the things we look for when we book a hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast. Our room was nice and clean."

"I booked this room last minute and arrived late at night. Check in was easy. Got inside of the room and it smelt like smoke and there were cigarette burns on the blankets and stains. I returned to the front desk and informed the man that I could not stay in the room. He assured me that a refund would not be an issue and to contact Expedia. I was refunded without any issues. Even though the room was not to my standards I appreciate the gentleman being polite and able to assist."

"The staff was very nice, but the room wasn't what I expected. The TV was really small and was positioned in a weird spot and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.. sorry but I really didn't enjoy my stay 😕"

"They charge a lot for a plain room and no extras. breakfast ok nothing special may be counting on hunting and fishing season The big drawback each Time I stay there the direct tv is off line. Complained to front desk, nothing they could do. 198.00 a night and no working tv. Poor internet and nothing special"

"You can’t go wrong with Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is super clean, well maintained, excellent hot breakfast and super nice dining room as well. The bedding was like new, same with the chair in room. Bathroom was perfect and clean! This hotel is also in a safe and nice area. There’s also a lot of new stores and restaurants just on the opposite side of the freeway. Also close to Centralia if you like Outlet Malls."

"Convenient location and somewhat cheaper than most other nearby hotels, which reflected the lack of a breakfast. I had been forewarned about this and there are several breakfast options the other side of the Interstate"
