"Harriet's is a clean, functional place to sleep and shower if that's what you are looking for. The staff were friendly, but do not go above or beyond to be helpful. Linda, who checked me in was very sweet. No amenities whatsoever. If you forget your toothpaste or a razor, you are on your own. There is a sign in the room asking you to strip your own bed, take out the trash, and put used towels in the tub -- the last of which, I would do anyway. "This place is a hidden gem. A few minutes outside of Sandusky, the rooms are simple yet comfortable and the grounds are a lovely place to relax, be it outside with the porches, pavilions, and firepits, or in one of the shared spaces inside. Ranae's communication was friendly, prompt, and clear. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there."
