"We love staying at the Clinton Inn primarily for its location. The lake-front lawn, with lounge chairs facing the water, is magical as the sun sets over the nuclear tower to the west, and herons, egrets, and gulls soar back and forth, along with the activity of marine traffic. The hotel itself is a little shabby, which suits us fine, but be sure to request a second-floor room as "balcony" also refers to first-floor decks, either right by the public walkway or parking areas. "The pool area was terrific the only problem is that once 9:00 came they shut off all the lights around the pool and walkways. Then they put on these terrible red lights you couldn't see where you were walking to save your life. A couple times the security guards was walking around helping people with a flashlight so they can see where they were walking. I know they blamed it on the mayflies but they were gone I didn't see one when I was there last week"

"Overall the trip was fun but room was gross. Blankets were extremely old and smelly. Shower curtain needed to be changed. There was a bad storm before we came which resulted in dead birds scattered In front of our room. They were there for the entirety of our stay. One was still alive we took care of it. Front desk was aware."

"Our room had mold. The elevator was out of order, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. No help from management. Breakfast had no hot food only muffins and donuts and cereal. No parking at all. Even for our golf cart."

"This quaint older motor lodge style building has been well maintained, the outdoor pool is open 'til 11 & has a deep end big enough for a kids' slide + a lovely hot tub! I felt like I had gone back 35 years, when a reasonably priced motel just like this was nice, affordable & fun. There's cable TV, mini-fridge, nice bathroom facilities, great ice machines & and they even comp a couple or more bottles of water. I also drank the tap water and it was fine. Super clean but down-to-earth family-run...

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was amazing especially the night staff very friendly accommodating property sits right in the middle of everything. Pool area was wonderful. Rooms were great no complaints. Definitely looking forward to coming back."

"Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it."
