"We LOVED our stay at Iron Creek Bay! My son, who is 4, was so happy to feed the animals, and there was a nice big playground and large amount of land to walk around. Our room had a gorgeous view and was comfortable and clean. There is a common kitchen area, as well as coin laundry and some treadmills. "As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...

"Definitely, Best Western is one of the best hotel networks available in Australia, and this one in Hobart follows the same standard. The best value for money, I mean. Our room seemed like brand new, perhaps it was recently refurbished. It was very spacious (fits well 3 people), quite, with a very well-designed toilet and comfortable beds. One weakness is that they don’t have room service on Sundays. Besides, the in-suite access to the wifi network was also very unstable and slow. Anyway, we...

"No, we were put on the backside unfortunately even though it wasn’t even a quarter full. There was no one on our side of the building at all."

"This place has so much potential. The building is so cute, but the inside needs updating badly. It felt very outdated and run down. The pillows were very thin and the mattress was really lumpy. The owners dogs were cute but the barking was annoying :("
