"I feel the 8.6 is much too overrated. A 7, maybe. Old building, needs a facelift. Clean, but does not feel as a happy place. Old rugs. Very dark ( but clean) rooms. Felt like in a cave. Manager had no people skills, not welcoming. Will not stay there again. Put a little money into the place!"

"The Harvest Barn Inn was a warm, inviting and quaint stay. Blessing, the property manager and owner, went above and beyond to assist me with my very late check-in and then my late checkout as well. I would highly recommend it!"

"This was a nice house in a good location. However we were disappointed with how the kitchen was equipped. We were unable to use it to cook family meals as we had planned. There was only 1 small sauce pan, the can-opener was broken and you couldn't read the dials on the stove. The listing stated there was a pool and fireplace which there were not and the "pool table" advertized actually fit inside a drawer. "

"The website made it look much nicer than it actually was. Upon entering the room, it smelled like the floor was mopped with a dirty mop, and for two days, we had to smell that stench. We wanted to leave after one night but since it was the weekend, we were not allowed to without being charged, because we had to stay a minimum of 2 nights. There was very little space to sit in front of the river, as it appeared on their website, and overall it was just disappointing and way overpriced."

"The home is beautiful and felt so welcoming. The kitchen is beautiful although I didn't have the opportunity to use much besides the coffee pot. I appreciated that there was a Keurig and some creamers available to use. One of the bedrooms upstairs has a half bath attached and that was lovely. The outdoor area appeared well appointed and I wish the weather would have allowed me some outdoor time. This is a beautiful home and I'd highly recommend a stay there. I hope to return again soon!"
