"Wir haben die Villa im Dunkeln erreicht, über den holprigen Weg. Pon hat sich im Vorfeld alle Mühe gegeben undxuns eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung gesendet. Mit etwas Fahrgeschick, ist der Weg gut zu meistern. Wir haben die Autovermietung genutzt, die Pon seinen Gästen empfiehlt. Dasckann ich nurvunterstreichen, wir wurden am Flughafen von einem Mitarbeiter empfangen und uns wurde ein tadellos sauberes, neues Auto übergeben. In der Villa angekommen, konnten wir einen ersten Eindruck vom Äußeren...

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Huisje ligt heerlijk rustig op een groot stuk grond, met een eigen zwembad. Behalve vogels, pauwen en kikkers hoor je niets. De keukenuitrusting is erg basic. Twee gezellige katten. Wij hebben steeds bij Petrokino in Mixorouma gegeten, een paar minuten met de auto. Daarnaast zit de supermarkt/bakkerij."

"This is such a beautiful spot - peaceful, great view, 10 minutes from the beach and such a comfortable well appointed apartment. The terrace and garden were delightful too and we looked forward to coming back every day. Patrick was a very helpful and attentive host. He met us when we arrived to give detailed directions. We would love to go back."

"A lovely villa in a peaceful tranquil retreat. Wonderful views of the coast and surrounding hills. Watch the Eagles soaring above. Very peaceful you can listen to the wildlife around you. The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles."

"Lovely villa in a beautiful setting. Spotless and well equipped. Pool area is overlooked by a very close bedroom balcony from neighbouring villa that shares the grounds. Owners come regularly to clean and empty bins and check all is ok."

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la villa Ammos: propre, bien équipée, notamment de lits confortables, entourée de jolis jardins (herbes aromatiques et arbres fruitiers) et d'une piscine commune appartenant à une propriété très bien entretenue et proche en voiture des commodités (supermarché, route d'accès aux principaux sites touristiques). Hôtes discrets mais serviables et absolument charmants. Petit bémol sur la wifi, pas très stable."

"Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. Did think more effort could be put into a welcome basket maybe salt pepper...

"Very friendly welcome by the owner, with welcome local products and home cooked meal. Villa equipped with all we needed and very spacious for the two of us. Pool and garden well maintained. Garden / pool partially overlooked by nabouring villa, but otherwise very private and the other villa was not occupied the week we were there. Many welcoming local shops and taverners in the area, but not within walking distance. Also many local beaches and other places to visit within a 30 minuit drive."
