"Beautiful room which I think had been recently renovated. Really well appointed kitchen and bathroom too that also seemed brand new. Lovely hostess (Eva?) Who made us feel very welcome . We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend although worth noting there are a lot of steps for anyone with mobility issues."

"The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower was great. Breakfast was good, with a few different options. The pool is clean and a good size with lots of sub beds around it. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant views of the mountains and the sea to the other side."

"Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate...

"Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again."

"We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. "Horrible experience, I don't recommend it. Hotel with zero accessibility and does not offer help with luggage. I booked a room with a king bed and we were placed in a room with two single beds. There's no point in complaining that they didn't solve it, they said it was just a matter of putting the beds together. Weak breakfast and restaurant with non-Chinese food. "Our AC didn’t work and the staff knew that and put is in the room. When we asked for help to turn on the AC we were told there’s an issue with the AC in our room and they can’t do anything about it that night. It would’ve been nice to be put in a room that had AC"

"The is hotel was ok we only stayed there for 2 night when we arrived they told us that the room we booked there was a problem with it they wanted us to stay in a another room for the first and change rooms for our second, The breakfast was nice just to make other travellers aware it’s about 3.5 km from the main resort you got to have a taxi. We would not stay again or recommend it sorry"

"The property is in a great location, less than 5 mins walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and right by a bus stop. It had a terrace and garden, so it was nice to have outdoor space. Our only issue was that the electricity kept tripping. The owner was very responsive and came the first time it happened, then we just flipped the trip switch back ourselves.
