The Space:

Welcome to Villa Maria Volada, a spacious single-level home combining the peaceful atmosphere of village life with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay in Karpathos.



Located near the edge of the quiet mountain village of Volada, the villa accommodates up to six guests and is ideal for families, couples travelling together, or groups of friends looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the island.

The villa is entirely on one level with no stairs, making it particularly convenient for families and guests who prefer easier access.



Villa Maria is also pet-friendly and well positioned for exploring the traditional villages of Volada, Othos and Aperi, as well as beautiful east-coast beaches including Kyra Panagia and Achata.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the entire Villa Maria, including both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, private bedroom balconies, and the spacious outdoor terrace surrounding the property.



The villa has its own private entrance and is entirely yours during your stay, offering plenty of privacy and space to relax.



The property is all on one level with no stairs. It is located in a quiet village alley just off the main road, with access to the villa on foot or by scooter/motorbike.

The Neighborhood:

Villa Maria is located in Volada, a peaceful traditional mountain village surrounded by some of Karpathos' most beautiful scenery.



Set near the quieter edge of the village, the property enjoys views across the surrounding mountains and countryside, with Pigadia and the sea visible in the distance. The neighbourhood is residential and relaxed, offering guests the opportunity to experience village life away from the island's busier tourist areas.



The nearby villages of Othos and Aperi are only a short drive away, while the beautiful beaches of Kyra Panagia and Achata are easily accessible by car.



Pigadia, the island's capital, is approximately a 15–20 minute drive, where you'll find a wider selection of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shops and the harbour promenade.



With its central mountain location, Volada makes an excellent base for exploring Karpathos' villages, beaches, hiking routes and scenic mountain roads while returning to a peaceful setting at the end of the day.



Getting Around:

A car or scooter is recommended for exploring Karpathos and making the most of Villa Maria's location.



Pigadia is approximately a 15–20 minute drive, while the nearby villages of Othos and Aperi and beaches such as Kyra Panagia and Achata are easily reached by road.



Free public parking for cars is available along the main road, a short walk from the villa. Villa Maria is located down a narrow village alley that is best accessed on foot. Guests travelling by scooter or motorbike can usually park directly outside the property.

Other Things to Note:

Villa Maria is located in a quiet residential area of Volada, and we kindly ask guests to respect the peaceful surroundings and neighbouring homes, particularly during evening and nighttime hours.



Pets are welcome, making the villa a great option for guests travelling to Karpathos with their four-legged companions. A pet fee applies.



Please note that Villa Maria is located down a narrow traditional village alley and is best accessed on foot. Free public parking for cars is available along the main road, a short walk from the property. Scooters and motorbikes can usually be parked directly outside the villa.



As Volada is a mountain village, the selection of shops and groceries nearby is more limited than in Pigadia. Guests planning to cook regularly may wish to stock up on groceries while in Pigadia.
