Spectacular ocean view from the lanai of this second-floor, air-conditioned condo in Wailua Bay View. Enjoy view of waves breaking on Wailua beach, a favorite among kite surfers, and watch the Wailua river flow into the bay. Relax to the sound of surf, breathe fresh ocean air and spend a quiet evening admiring the moonlight glistening on the water or discovering stars in the night sky.
Wailua Bay View condos are located in Kapaā€™a, on the East coast of Kauai. The central location is ideal for visits to Waimea Canyon, Poipu, but also Hanalei and Northshore beaches. Papaloa beach is only a few steps away and shops and restaurants of Kapaā€™a are within walking distance. The east shore of Kauai offers surfing, swimming, beaches, hiking trails (Sleeping Giant), biking (8-mile Ke Ala Hele Makalae path), golf (Wailua municipal golf course), kayaking on the Wailua river and more. Wailua Bay View offers a swimming pool with barbecue stations, landscaped gardens and free parking.
The condo has a brand-new TV, high-speed WiFi throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer combo and portable A/C units in the living room/kitchen area and bedroom. Beach umbrella, beach chairs, towels and cooler are available.

Beautiful view!

This condo is located centrally, making it easy to get to the north and south shores. We spent a lot of time on the back deck watching the ocean, surfers, and Kauai chickens. This place had everything we needed. There were a few places that didnā€™t seem to be cleaned when we arrived, but we easily cleaned up and enjoyed our week there. The ocean view was tranquil and made our stay so enjoyable!

Enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai every morning. Beach chairs, cooler, in-unit laundry, AC units in the living room and bedroom, and Roku TV were great to have! Would stay here again!

Stunning property- super nice owner

We had a simply amazing stay here in Kauai. Ilse The owner is extremely communicative and had great recommendations. The property is super clean, and appeared a brand new AC unit had been added in living space and one in the bedroom that cools the space very well if AC is a typical worry you wonā€™t have that problem here! The apartment was well appointed with everything you would need for beach trips (a tube some boogey boards and some beach chairs, along with fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Really a great location too with many restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. If we come back to Kauai we would certainly look into properties that she owns. The view really says it all!

Amazing stay in Wailea

Canā€™t speak highly enough of this property. You get to wake up to the sound of the ocean right next to you. Itā€™s walkable to good food options. Itā€™s centrally located so easy to get to major sightseeing options. Comes with snorkel and swim gear which is a plus. Loved our stay here! Would highly recommend.

Condo was as described, beautiful view. Condo was well stocked with whatever we needed. Self check in so if you have questions there is no one to help. There was a tree being taken down while we were there so parking was a problem & it was very noisy. One day the on site manager let herself right into the condo when we were there without our permission, that was a little disturbing.

Absolutely beautiful!

We loved our stay here. This was the cleanest condo we have ever rented. You can see that the manager truly cares about the property. She also was so informative on the local area and was honestly there to help. The view was breathtaking and the sound of the waves was so peaceful. We will definitely return here in the future. Highly recommend!

location on the island was great - it made it easy to get to the north shore or south area of the island. The street noise was loud and made sleeping somewhat challenging. The proximity to the beach and hearing the ocean made up for it.

Amazing view

Beautiful view and pool grounds. The condo has lovely Hawaiian style furnishings with a balcony facing the water- perfect for relaxing. Very clean and except for the flooring nicely updated. The bed was quite confortable with nice linens. We got in too tired to shop so appreciated having coffee available for the following morning. I had a few questions and our host answered quickly. We were provided with great directions from the airport and how to check in. There were even boogie boards and other beach items and towels. I liked that it was quiet unlike the crazy busy huge resorts.

**"Our stay was absolutely unforgettable! We didnā€™t miss a single sunrise, and each one was uniquely breathtaking. The sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks was mesmerizingā€”so much so that when I read a review mentioning it was 'too loud' for TV, I knew this was exactly what my heart and soul needed.From day one, we were treated to natureā€™s wonders: a pod of 20 dolphins, surfers, fishermen, and even about 10 whales putting on a spectacular showā€”breaching, jumping, spouting, and tail-slapping an incredible 34 times! The resident rooster, two hens (one with eight chicks), and a little white kitty quickly became part of our experienceā€”we even named them all.The views were stunning, from the mountains to Lydgate Beach, and even watching planes arrive and depart was a treat. Great views and location.

Property as described and very clean. Management quick to reply and assist. The one thing that needs to be addressed is the bungee cord used to secure the shower door each time. A simple fix to the sliding door will do the trick.

Great location, minor inconveniences

Most prominent inconvenience is absents of soundproofed windows in the bedroom. Windows look toward very active road, where traffic starts at 5 am, this makes it pretty hard to sleep in the morning on weekdays. Some of adjacent apartments fixed this, but this one is not. Other to this, everything was pretty great. Location close to the ocean and many restaurants nearby, makes stay very convenient.

This unit is in a nice location. We liked the size and layout of the 1bdrm apartment. The view was spectacular. We could not stay here as there were problems with the mattress. The property manager seemed to be sincerely sorry, and I presume the mattress will be changed for the next renters.

Clean and Convenient

This home was very clean and had everything we needed! It was nice to be centrally located and close to the Coconut Marketplace for shopping, and to have additional beach items available although the weather didn't cooperate and we didn't get a chance to use them. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean and people on boogie boards. The only issue we had was that we were expecting AC and it only had it in the bedroom. Other than that everything was wonderful!

Gorgeous View!

The view from the balcony/patio is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed eating our breakfast out there and watching the surfers. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. There was an issue with it being very warm in the condo. The owner was quick to respond to my message. We purchased a second fan which we left at the condo to help cool the condo. I would also recommend they fix the shower door so you don't have to use a bungee cord to hold the door close. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and it is a great location on the island.

First Ilse was very kind to permit us to reschedule our visit from March to September. Thank you. The property is very centrally located and the pictures are accurate. The view from the balcony is terrific. Our main gripe was the stuffy feeling because even though we bought two giant fans to force fresh air into the apartment we were dying in the stuffy atmosphere. Thick pile carpet made the place seem dingier and stuffier than reality. The ac in the bedroom was effective somewhat, but that meant trying to stay there most of the time. The kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer worked well. The bathroom was ok....not unpleasant, but clearly dated and could use a thorough clean up but ideally a full remodel.

Nice oceanfront condo, comfortable and great location on the east coast. Amenities are great. The only downside for us was the lack of air conditioning in the entire unit. It was very warm during our stay and winds were not blowing in thru the patio. Overall a nice condo in a great location. We loved hearing the waves crashing on the shoreline!!
