This is a no-fuss little home base for a couple or small family who wants more beach time and less time getting there.

This ground-floor studio has a bright, straightforward layout with central air conditioning, WiFi, a kitchenette, and a furnished lanai for ending the day outside. The living and sleeping space accommodates up to four guests, while the full bath and simple in-room setup cover the essentials. It is an easy spot to reset between a beach walk, pool time, and dinner nearby.



Guest Access:

Guests at Islander on the Beach have access to the shared outdoor pool, hot tub, BBQ grill area, and beach access. The resort grounds provide easy outdoor space to relax between beach outings.



The Neighborhood:

The Kapaa shoreline gives you a central, relaxed way to see Kauai. Coconut Marketplace is about 100 yards away for easy meals, shopping, and groceries, while the Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal path nearby is made for an oceanfront walk or bike ride. Wailua River and its kayaking routes are close, with Opaekaa Falls a scenic drive inland. Kapaa town is nearby for local food and small shops. This East Side location also makes it practical to explore Lihue to the south or the North Shore when you feel like a day trip.



Getting Around:

Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.
