Nicely furnished, this oceanfront condominium has great views of Kauai's Coconut Coast. Enjoy wonderful views from indoors or from your private lanai which looks out to the ocean and a sandy beach. A shallow area protected by a lava rock wall is nice for children and non-swimmers.

Lounge on your lanai to enjoy nature's beauty amid the gentle breezes. Colorful sunrises are a special treat for early risers. It's a short walk to the swimming pool where you can relax in the sun and a take a cool, refreshing dip at your leisure.

Wailua Golf Course is nearby and among the nation's top municipal courses. It offers challenge plus spectacular ocean views. Kayak Wailua River and hike to waterfalls or take a riverboat cruise to famous Fern Grotto, a popular wedding site.

Numerous shops and restaurants are within walking distance and many more are just a short drive away. Indulge in exotic cuisine from around the world or choose more familiar foods from a wide variety of tempting menus.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and convenient. Having two bathrooms was a big plus, and the bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the washer and dryer, which made things much easier during our stay.A few small things would have made it even better, like having some basic spices for cooking and a coffee grinder. The only challenges were the humidity (there’s no air conditioning, so we relied on fans, which made it a bit warm and sticky) and the ants, which are common in the area. We kept food in the fridge and cupboards, which helped.On the positive side, the property manager was excellent—very responsive and accommodating. When our shower clogged, they had someone out right away to fix it.All in all, it’s a comfortable and well-managed condo that offers a peaceful stay in a beautiful location.

This is a very comfortable condo in a great location. There's a view of the ocean and a short walk across the landscaped grounds to the beach. The condo is very nicely decorated with attractive artwork and furniture. The rental management agency was very responsive when we contacted them about a couple of issues. The first was when we went to take showers and discovered that there was no soap or shampoo in either shower. We used bar soap from the sink and the management agency had a housekeeper deliver soap for the showers that afternoon, but I was informed that shampoo was considered a personal item and was not provided. First time I've encountered that at a rental. We purchased some shampoo and left it for the next guests. When we went to make dinner we discovered that there was no cutting board anywhere in the kitchen. Perhaps a previous guest had taken it to one of the outside grills and left it there. The agency had 2 cutting boards delivered in the afternoon. Neither of these issues really detracted from the experience of staying in such a great place.

The condo was very nice. The area was great too. The Kauai Vacation Rentals folks were responsive to the minor requests that I presented.The airflow through the condo was very good.I would recommend this condo.

Beautiful location

The proximity to both the north and south shores is perfect. The scenery from the window is a beautiful bay with sandy beach and a tide pool, lovely grounds and swaying palm trees. The property managers were great to work with. Loved our stay.

Mold Growing & Very Little Hot Water. No washer & dryer in unit. Beautiful view

The location is great. The view is $1M. The condo is well stocked, but so yourself a favor and find another place to stay. There is mold growing and we both got sick. Very sick. You can smell it when you first walk in. There’s about 1-2 minutes of hot water then it’s the ocean temp. So forget washing your hair, conditioning it, shaving and bathing all at the same time with hot water. The add said washer and dryer. The breaker box has a label with washer and dryer on it. Apparently it’s in one of the 3 locked doors. The office said we had to use a coin operated one at the office. We wouldn’t have chosen it for a 13 day stay had we known there wasn’t a W&D in the unit. I read the review about the hot water and assumed people were exaggerating or took long showers. Nope. It lasts for 2 minutes max. As a landlord, people should be responsible and not try to rent out a moldy unit without remediating it first.

beautiful Kauai

This condo was an awesome place to stay. Ocean front, heard the crashing waves, lots of space. Loved the location. Only issue is that I don't remember reading that it was on the 2nd floor with no elevator. We didn't need one, stairs are fine, but for others it could have been a problem.

The location was excellent. We liked being able to walk to a variety of restaurants in the area. The beach in front of the hotel was a lovely place to hang out, swim and snorkel. It was a really nice touch that there was all the beach gear for us to use! The condo was very spacious and comfortable, lots of space for 2 people. Previous reviews mentioned the lack of kitchen supplies, but it seems like they've outfitted the kitchen since then--no problems there. My only one complaint would be the towels and pillow cases. I know I have a sensitive nose for this, and I may be the only one who notices, but the towels and pillow cases had that smell of when things don't dry out. I know it's difficult with the humid weather. In my experience, you can't get that smell out of a towel once it's in there. It may be good to use a product that gets out protein like Oxiclean, because I could also smell the funk of previous guests on the towels/pillow cases.

Beautiful views, great location.

The property itself and the location were very good - easy to reach from the airport. Easy access to a small beach, some bbqs and a pool. And the view was perfect. Clean and maintained well enough given age. Kitchen appliances all working and modern. Consumables supplied which was a nice touch. A small selection of beach toys were available, and there was ample towels. Within walking distance to Kayak tours, beaches, shops, bars, cafes, etc. Car park usually had space, though this could sometimes be contentious. Internet and TV worked well. Listing mentions no aircon, but didn't find this to be an issue. Decent bed and pillows. Comfortable property overall. Booking and check in was a little fraught, with a light tenancy agreement, a deposit, and codes not supplied until the host was reminded. Main shower not working, which given the additional ensuite showerhead is about 5ft from the ground, wasn't ideal. Found it odd that the host would not know about this prior to our arrival given the cleaners would have presumably had cause to use it. Bedroom noise is frequent in the morning with no way to block it off due to the window type - recommend ear plugs. But overall, was a very nice place to stay, and somewhere we'd be grateful to come back to after a day out exploring.

Great Spot!

This lovation was perfect! The beach on the property was great to hang out and swim. It's in walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The lanai overlooking the water was a great place to hang out as well! Truly enjoyed our time here!

Anniversary Celebration

This is our second trip to Kapa a, but first at Lae Nani. The property was a bit dated but clean, great location, comfortable king bed, perfectly located between the north, south, and west side. Local shops made shopping a breeze. This one bedroom was perfect for the two of us. Lord willing, we will be back.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The grounds and location of this condo are perfect. Condo is very dated and would definitely benefit from some updating. However, for the price and location is provided the service we were looking for.

Great view from the balcony

We woke up every morning listening to the crash of the waves. The property has a small beach, but a 1000 sq ft area blocked by boulders 2 ft deep to allow small kids to swim and wade in the ocean safely. Will stay here again based on the central location on the island and view from the deck.

The grounds are well maintained and lovely. It’s nice to have access to the beach and a pool. We’ve been staying at Lae Nani for many years. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this unit. The furniture was badly worn, the kitchen hasn’t been updated, the few pots and pans made cooking difficult., the TV barely worked and the bathrooms are in dire need of updating. We stayed in this unit because it was available during the time we needed to be here. But, I wouldn’t rent it again.

Excellent location and property

The view from our balcony was amazing; well maintained grounds, beautiful landscaping and a beach just beyond the manicured lawns. The property is close to shops, and there’s a coastal trail for walking/cycling. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was functional but could use some upgrades if you want to prepare meals on a regular basis. We plan to book the unit again in the future.
