Exactly as expected. Oasis restaurant was an excellent surprise
Everything was just as described. We were very comfortable and the two bedrooms being laid out as separate wings of the unit were great for two couples. Everything is clean and in decent shape. We would stay again, don't expect a great ocean view but that is what they describe. Location to stores, restaurants and the beach was perfect. Don't miss The Bull Shed next door if you love steak.

A Very Happy Place
My family loved this property! The condo is well maintained, clean, extraordinarily spacious, and surpassed expectations. We loved the restaurant, the beach, and most of all the pool. It’s a true resort pool with waterslides, waterfalls, and multiple hot tubs. There is a kids beach area within the pool.

Location, location, location
My husband & I stayed at Alain's spacious & clean condo with our three early 20's girls and we cannot say enough good things about the condo itself, but really it was the location that made the most impact. The girls had the freedom to go to the beach, pool & shops and as parents we felt that they were always safe. In turn we had peace of mind so that we could enjoy our vacation too! We would book this condo again.

Great Potential
The location of this property is amazing, about 30 minutes to Poipu and 35 to Princeville. Grocery, coffee, deserts and great food within walking distance. The complex has a fantastic set of amenities. The pool with waterslides, sand beach, 3 hot tubs, a grotto. That is where the excitement ends. Two of the hot tubs were luke warm at best and the other was scalding hot. Pool towels were limited to six per day... Even though every unit sleeps six, some even eight, you may only get six towels per day. Don't bring a wet one to exchange for dry because your only allowed so much fun per day with the benefits of drying off. That brings me to my second complaint... The poolside bar has been converted to a kitchen for the Oasis grill sandwiched conveniently 10 feet from the beach and 5 feet from the pool but don't think of walking into this place even to order a drink in a swimsuit or damp. I was wearing my swimsuit and threw on a tee shirt to go in and order a soda to cool off and was asked to leave because my hair was not dry. Mind you I was not dripping wet, just NOT DRY. There are QR codes all around the pool you can scan to order food or drink. They only lead to a screen stating online ordering not available. When you eat at the Oasis, your food is cooked in the for mentioned structure that appears to have once been a pool bar, it sits and a window and waits for the hustlers to pick and up make the journey 75 yards to your table. 12 days booked and only 3 rolls of tp 4 4 people.

Perfect Place to Stay
This unit was great all around. Easy check-in and easy check-out. The unit is spacious, clean, and in a really good location. Being across the street from Safeway, we were able to walk over and buy food items for lunches/dinners which we were able to prepare in the fully stocked kitchen. The amount of bathrooms is perfect when traveling with a group. The air conditioning works super well, which was nice when coming back after being in the heat all day. It worked so well that at times it was a bit chilly, but we’d just open the doors to the lanai and the air would turn off. The lanai does face Safeway/the road, but it was still nice to sit and eat on. We even saw a couple rainbows above the mountains. This resort is perfect for both families, and friends traveling together like we were. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed
Arrived to be told our unit was flooded from air con leak. We were given another unit but for only 4 nights. We were not advised of our room progress but told our present room was rented and we must move a second time to third unit. Owner was sorry for our dilemma but would not offer any compensation for our very upsetting stay. The resort itself was very nice, but not impressed the disseptivness of the front desk staff.

Fun get away
The unit was exactly as expected from the pictures. Great location, but there is road noise on the patio since it faces the road. After hours check in was frustrating - waited 20 minutes for security to come by, all phone numbers provided to reach security went straight to voicemail with full mailboxes. Air conditioning went out twice and it was hot for sleeping but fixed within 12 hours each time. Beds were comfortable, unit was well supplied, pool was great, beach was great, location in Kapa'a and walking distance to Safeway was convenient. There is a limit of 6 beach towels per day per room. Overall we really enjoyed the unit and resort!

Great stay!
My family and I stayed here while visiting Hawaii. We absolutely loved the property. The pool was such a hit for the kids and it was so conveniently located just across the street from a supermarket and other small stores. Great place to stay would highly recommend it.

Great location
We enjoyed ourselves so much, beautiful property great location. Close to stores and restaurants and airport seemed like we were right in the middle of the island. Nice bar and restaurant on site. The staff on site were great very nice. The pool was amazing. Very clean condo the beds were so comfortable. Air conditioning was great!!!! If I had one constructive criticism would be newer furniture. It's in good condition but defiantly ready for an update. We would return here for sure!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely Fantastic
Experience could not be better. The unit itself is modern, well kept with brand new appliances as well as well stocked with kitchen utensils, beach supplies, etc. The property owner was great to deal with and the property management group onsite was incredibly helpful and professional. Check in was a breeze. The property itself has a fantastic swimming setup - especially for kids. Two water slides, a lazy River, large swimming area and jacuzzi. The restaurant on the property is one of the better restaurants on the eastern side of the island. Location wise, it’s a short 15 minute drive from the Lihue airport and central to the east coast of the island so a short 25 minute drive to popular spots like Princeville or Poipu. For some of the other reviews you might read referencing a lack of kitchen supplies or air conditioning noise - those were 100% not an issues when we stayed in early August 2023. Could not give a higher recommendation and we look forward to going back!

I loved the fact that it has a Safeway right across the street and good restaurants close by. The place is just as described. I do wished the kitchen was equipped with more essentials like salt/pepper and had some more kitchen ware (eg bowls).

Great stay
This property was amazing. Location was great, room was very comfortable. The only thing that we noticed was a loud humming sound throughout the whole apartment. During the day was okay but at night when it was quiet it was very noticeable but other than that everything else was great.

Great spot for families!
Had a great time at this property! Kids loved the pool and the central location made getting to other parts of the island a breeze. The condo was very spacious and we appreciated the beach toys/mats that were available for our use.

Exactly what you are looking for
Absolutely everything you want in a resort property. Easy check in. Loaded amenities from blenders to gyms to sand bottom jacuzzi and convenient shopping. Footsteps to the beach the property has everything. The resort was large enough to where you had you own space but not too large that you had to walk everywhere. Best part is that it was 12 mins from the airport and closer to Hanalei and Princeville but not at this prices. I typically stay in Poipu but Kapaa has everything. I come to Hawaii yearly and plan to book here again.

Check in process was horrible
Lonnie greated us when we checked in and advised me that she did not see me listed on their roster. I advised we booked through VRBO and she said "oh, download the app and figure it out" I could not believe my ears. Went up to our condo to figure it out and someone was already in the condo that just checked in. The owner was awesome, got it straightended out however, the manager did not check in with us and I asked the owner if we needed to go back down to check in and was told no. To my surprise, we were LOCKED OUT after a few days and then ager did not even ask me what the scenario was. This was disappointing to me due to the fact that I am in hospitality also. My suggestion to Waipoli Reaort is to fire the rude person who I spoke with when we arrived and get on the same page as the owner as if it weren't for the way we were greated, I feel this would have been a different experience all together. They upgraded the people who were in our condo and I feel they should have upgraded us since we were treated so rudely. Thank goodness for Velma who checked us out, she is a true asset to this resort.
