The third floor is a studio apartment abs another great place to hang out and watch movies, do laundry with the additional washer and dryer set, or prepare meals in the full kitchen! Girls trip

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The only downfall was the house listed a king, queen, and twin on the 3rd level and the the queen was a bean bag chair that turned queen but felt more like a giant dog bed, not comfortable; would have liked an actual queen bed for our size group. Loved how it was a quick 8min to downtown.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 6 children. A great house that brought back memories of when I was a kid. Plenty of room for each of three families to spread out and also great space for family meals and games. The house is close to everything to see in downtown KC. This VRBO has every amenity that you could ever need. Check-in was a breeze and we loved the easy process. If you are looking for a great experience in KC, this is the place for you and your family!!

Highly recommend. The VRBO itself is stunning. We were greeted with welcoming music playing and great vibes. The building is so spacious and we had plenty of room. I canā€™t recommend it enough. We all had a great time in a great atmosphere!

Adult weekend getaway

Wonderful home for our adult weekend getaway. We gathered with 5 adult couples all coming together to celebrate a few of our 40th birthdays. The pictures on the listing were accurate, but the house still blew me away when we arrived. My husband said ā€œoh my gosh this place is huge!ā€ All 5 couples had a comfortable and beautiful room/bed. Bathrooms were plentiful and stocked with necessities and extras. The dining table fit 10 adults around comfortably. We loved having the wet bar space for making drinks and storing our drink items. We had space to cook, room to spread out and relax, but also space to all sit around together as a group. The home accommodated all our needs/wants and then some. Anyone curious about the location (letā€™s be honest, it can sometimes be a little sketchy downtown and around the area), we were pleasantly pleased. We felt safe and secure. Neighbors were fine, the street was quiet (Friday and Saturday stay.) We had 5 cars all parked safely down the back of the house and driveway. Nobody had to park on the street. We came and went a few different times via Uber and always felt comfortable standing outside waiting for our rides or being dropped back off later in the evening hours after dark. Communication with the host was quick and efficient and extremely helpful. I had questions and they were always answered promptly through the VRBO messaging feature. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This Historic home truly is STUNNING. If you are looking for both character and comfort, this is THE house in Kansas City to reserve. Walking to the plaza - easy, walking to Westport - easy - catching a very short ride to downtown - easy. Kitchen and bathrooms and bedrooms all wonderful and the best is a large dining area where everyone in your party can gather at the same table! Plenty of off street parking for our party of 9. This house actually brought so much added joy to our gathering. Thank you for providing such a beautiful yet comfortable and FUN place for our party!

Levi was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed and more. Even left us a fridge stocked with beverages and a bottle of wine to celebrate! The house was in great shape for being over 100 years old. We had plenty of spaces to sleep and get ready. Loved this property!!

Wonderful Westport Property

I stayed at this property on a girls trip with my aunts and cousins. We had a wonderful time. The property is a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants in Westport. The property was clean and the property looked as advertised. The host was responsive when I sent him a text looking for extra garbage bags.

The Big Blue house was perfect

Before we took one step into the Big Blue house, Levi clearly explained how our experience would be more enjoyable by understanding the in-and-outs of the house. His details set us up for a super successful stay. The house is located in an old neighborhood, and made us feel like we were truly enjoying a friends house. The attention to detail of having more bed options available was great for guests to pick and choose a sleeping area. I highly recommend Big Blue to anyone interested in staying at a home that is has a perfect balanced of old aesthetics with a modern touch. Location, location, location. The location was nicely nestled between downtown and the Plaza, which made getting dinner and exploring the neighbors that much better. Phenomenal all around. Thanks for letting us stay at Big Blue! It was even better than we imagined! We were blown away by the attention to detail, cleanliness, size and comfort of this home. It was the perfect place to host a bachelorette party. Family Reunion

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the host. The place was perfect for our family reunion. We had three families in the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. The rest of the family would come over for dinners and to hang out. The front porch is great for morning coffee and also afternoon get togethers. The beds are all very comfortable and the large. The host is so responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay an absolute breeze. I would recommend this property based on the size and location. Is is so close to the city but is also in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of parking, basketball hoop kept the kids and adults busy.
