I do apologize for that misunderstanding that took place, I do hope this doesn't stray you away from staying with us, I will converse with the front desk associates and see where this went wrong in booking. We do usually respectfully inform our guests that booking on the Marriott Bonvoy app is more prominent when it comes to accessibility requests but that does not steer away from the associates helping to make sure that is what's granted.
