Room:
Was clean but dated, Housekeeping never came to freshen towels, bed, etc. Bathroom was very dated, inside shower was dark so hard to read what the items were (shampoo / conditioner / body wash). Toilet was dated - too low, uncomfortable, and too close to water!
Electric outlets do not accommodate today's electric components (phone/computer)
Bar:
Happy Hour selection for beer was awful and limited - $3.00 up-charge for a decent selection of beer. Suggestion - if you won't offer a decent selection, simply eliminate the "Happy Hour", track what the customers ask for and improve the selection. Snacks bar - (I will confess I did not go there) what I saw other patrons getting were mostly salad and cheese offerings and nothing salty to encourage more drinks
Breakfast:
Day 1 - 6:30 was fine but very minimal offerings outside of omelet station (which I did not have time to wait for).
Day 2 - 6:45 still no breakfast meat offering for buffet - very disappointing (I did ask breakfast Chef for some beacon)
Staff:
I had minimal interaction with staff. Desk Clerk was nice, professional, but struggled at each station to get me a room key - for a reservation, shouldn't that have been made in advance? I was never recognized as a HH's Guest while I saw other HH' Guests receive their water and "Welcome Bag". Had to call for Wi-Fi. I Never saw a Manager. There was nothing to indicate any welcoming feeling, gratitude for choosing ES, no indication to come back for future stays.
