I didn’t actually sleep here. I never was given a room number. But here I am writing a review. It was the night before my early flight and all of the airport proximity hotels were booked. I’d already had an issue at another property earlier in the evening. I walked into the posh entryway, fountains and pleasant warm lighting was comfortable. There were several people in line at the desk and I notice the clerk looks a little stressed. I get to the desk and Kristy introduced herself as the manager on duty. She explains that they actually do not have any open rooms as there was a glitch with the Expedia website but that she would do everything she could to find us a place to stay for the evening. Kristy ended up staying on the line with Expedia, was able to get me a refund and also did her very best to find us other accommodations for the evening. She was extremely patient with my frustration and exhaustion and found us a place to wait while we tried to troubleshoot the issue. When I say she went above and beyond, I cannot express how much we needed her kindness that evening. We were not technically paying customers and she mentioned in passing that she had to be back on the morning shift and stayed with us until nearly 2am. Her kindness and willingness to help really got us through the night. So while I did not end up staying here, I would 100% refer any of my friends and family to stay at Embassy.
