"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe...

"This is a very nice beach front hotel. Popular place since 70s. Close to the city center with bus/train stations, banks/ATMs. Turtle beach also very close, we can feed the friendly sea turtles and take photos. Kids friendly beach area. This hotel has swimming pools. One for the kids also. Good breakfast and dinner buffet with international food items, some local items also daily. Good A/C, Hot water, comfy beds. "The rooms are lovely in this little boutique hotel, it is located at the top of Gaul fort and easy to park and find. The staff are very good and helpful. They make good coffee. We didn’t eat here other than a dessert but the quality was good. The restaurant is small though and there are no other facilities but for a comfortable room you can’t go wrong "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Galle Fort Hotel. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. We had an issue with an iron and we were absolutely taken care of by the general manager. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in the Galle area."
