"This is the perfect place to unwind in style and enjoy a bit of luxury on a budget. We loved the hot tub, gorgeous gardens, tennis court, and having fine dining on site was an unexpected bonus. Truly, you have to eat at the restaurant, it is next level. The staff are super friendly and even let my husband into our room hours before check in so he could work while he waited for me to arrive. We will be back!"

"Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. "

"Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel."

"We had two nights at the Alpine lodge. The concierge was friendly, the room clean and spacious and the location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Katoomba and other tourist attractions. The decor was dated and was on a noisy road (fine if the windows are closed as they are double glazed). "The host was very friendly, a large breakfast was set for the three nights we were staying. Although bread gets old in three days. The toaster made it to be acceptable.The view and quietness, sitting on the porch is fantastic.The hosts laudrymat cleaned our clothes, thanks for that!Unfortunately the lights in the room (and other areas) were very poor. No good view on what you are doing in the kitchen which also has only minimal facilities. The coach looks like being 40 years old.Overall I think...
