Welcome to Paradise! We hope to host your stay!

B2 is located within the Mauna Lani Resort at The Islands at a private, gated community situated along the famed fairways of Mauna Lani golf course. Handsome townhomes set within gardens of flowering plumeria, hibiscus and ginger and tranquil ponds, The Islands at Mauna Lani offer the luxurious comforts of vacation living along with the amenities of a fine resort.

This two story vacation home is a 2 bedroom plus a loft with 2.5 bathrooms. Our home features King sized beds in dual master suites with private bathrooms and views of the golf course from practically every room. An upstairs loft includes a bunk bed for the kids. Each bedroom is furnished with a flat screen TV and the large open kitchen has dual ovens, granite counter upgrades, and a sub-zero fridge. There is also a half bathroom on the main floor for visitors. The crisp decor of the living room extends to the outside lanai perfect for family entertainment and BBQs. The home is fully air conditioned with open access to private patios through both of the master bedrooms. Breezes from the gentle trade winds will remind you that you really are in Paradise. For the exclusive use of Islands residents is a pool and recreation complex where water falls over a rock grotto into a free form swimming pool and including two entertainment pavilions, a whirlpool spa, full kitchen and professional quality, gas barbecues.
The outdoor Lanai is equipped with a BBQ, sink, and lots of seating space with views of the lusciously green fairway. Listen to the friendly morning chirp of the unique Island bird species while watching the sun rise over the horizon.

The Islands is located near the Mauna Lani Spa, the Beach, Golf, Tennis and Racquet club, the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, and the newly constructed Shops at Mauna Lani. Many of these facilities are located within easy walking distance.

The Islands was a wonderful spot for my small family and toddler to launch off. The pool was extremely private and the mauna lani beach was fantastic and well protected! Donna’s townhome had lots of towels, good beach gear, beach toys, and a trolley! The townhouse, although not the most updated, was nicely stocked with the basics. We loved the private lanais and grill outside. We could watch golfers and birds and the beautiful landscaping.We will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect for us, we were able to walk to the beach and to the shops and to mauna Lani resort. We did mostly end up driving to the beach since the mile walk was too far to bring beach toys and for our little ones but the drive was short and easy. The beach club beach was PERFECT, no big waves so it was ideal for our family with toddlers. It was beautiful being close to the golf course and lots of grass outside for our little ones to play near the rental property. The pool was a couple minute walk and very pretty with the waterfall but we didn’t end up going very often since the beach was so beautiful and more baby friendly. For this property we felt like we had everything in the kitchen that was needed, there were plenty of beach towels, and the beach wagon was great! Also Donna was wonderful to communicate with, she was responsive and answered all questions and made the check in process very smooth when we arrived. Loved our stay thank you Donna!

Perfect!

We’ve stayed in Mauna Lani and WaikoloaVillage at other condos/townhouses. While they’ve all been good, we loved this property the most. A list of the best features: Great location. Access to the beach club. Close proximity to the pool. Comfortable living area. Kitchen and dining area had plenty of room. Kids loved the bunks with TV. Lanai seating with view of the golf course. Beach toys and chairs available were also a plus. We’ll stay here again the next time we visit Big Island!

Amazing Family Memories

This house, resort, and entire experience was really fantastic. The home was even more comfortable than the photos. The bedrooms and bunkbeds were perfect for our family of six (including three teens). We prepared meals in the kitchen, had coffee on the lanai(s), played games at the table and absolutely loved all of the beach equipment available for us in the garage. Donna is awesome. What a helpful, friendly, accommodating host. She was so fun that I might choose a house that she manages just to work with her again! The resort experience is incredible. Access to the beaches and the pool made our stay so memorable. This is a great place!

Excellent VHawaiian Vacation

We were delighted with the property and the unit. Donna, was very attentive checking in with us multiple times both prior and during our stay. We like the layout of the unit as the bedrooms were isolated from each other and also from the down stairs. The unit had every possible item you could think of from spices in the kitchen and appliances, to beach chairs and a pull cart for your beach items. The unit is in a super quiet location. Great stay in Mauna Lani!

We lived this property and all Donna was great to communicate with - she ensured we had everything we needed and checked in on us a couple times to make sure we had a good stay. The home is in a great location and had all the appliances and cookware needed to make our own meals and drinks for a week. It’s in a cute and quiet beach community (15ish min walk to the beach), and right across from a shared pool (with a grotto) and hot too. Everything was just as described and we’d definitely come back!

Best Kohala Coast Experience

This is our third time to the big island but our first experience staying on the Kohala coast and I can say that we will never go back. What a great rental! We had everything we needed right at our finger tips and enjoyed every second looking out at the golf course. Great Property Overall

Overall, a great location and wonderful stay. We had an issue at check in with the VRBO instructions that were sent. It was handled by the owner once I was able to get in contact with her. The other minor issue we had was the beach club access card was not there but it was brought to us the next day. Beds were comfortable, layout was great. The AC didn’t circulate very well into the loft area with the bunk beds and it was hard to fall asleep out there. Everything we could have wanted/needed for the beach was provided - boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach toys. The beach club access parking was great. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Great set up for two couples with two King suites with bathrooms. A bit worn in spots but spacious, comfortable, great location, lovely golf course view, pool and beach club close by.

Incredibly comfortable luxury

This property is beautifully decorated in island theme. The well stocked kitchen provides ability to make wonderful meals with bountiful farmer’s markets and fresh seafood and beef as ingredients, locally sourced. The pool and its waterfall will relax you. The white sand beach is wonderful, but the protected bay it lines is a snorkeler’s paradise. Saw almost everything on snorkel Bob’s fish chart. We will definitely rent here again next time to the big island.

Fantastic property in a great loacation!

We had an amazing time staying here. The house was very well equipped and quite luxurious. The property manager was so easy to communicate with too. Would totally recommend this house. A car is recommended if you are planning on leaving the resort.

Great place to enjoy Hawaii!

We so enjoyed our stay! Great location to stay at! We had lots of space and able to easily get around with a car. Wish we had use of a place to rent bikes so we could get to the beach easier. The local area was convenient to get groceries as well as acquire a few excursion necessities. Thanks so much for opening your home to us! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and we also made use of the coolers in the garage for our excursion days around the island. Great memories were made for all of us! Islands at Mauna Lani

This was our first time using VRBO for our Big Island vacation, and will not be our last. Islands B2 is amazing, the pictures do not do this property justice. Lots of space for our group of 4, would be very comfortable for a family of 6. The area is very quiet and convenient to beaches, shopping and all the BI has to offer. There is a very lovely pool area less than 100 steps away, and all the grounds were very well maintained. We were very impressed with how well stocked the condo was, the only thing we had to buy was a few spices and oil and some extra paper towels. B2 was very, very clean upon our arrival and available for an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Donna was a joy to deal with, although we really didn't need her for anything.. We highly recommend this condo 5 Stars all the way.

This property on the Big Island was beautiful and located in an ideal location to amazing beaches. The home has all essentials you will need for your stay (beach towels/beach supplies, soap, cleaners, spices/cooking essentials, etc.). The property manager promptly responded to our texts. This property is exactly as shown on Vrbo. My family of six had plenty of room for our 2 week stay. We loved it!

Family reunion

We were part of a large family vacation. The condo was in a great location; able to walk to the beach club through the lava field. The condo was well stocked and access to the garage was a plus. Would recommend highly.
