    Enjoy the beach without the arduous packing and unpacking. Be right on the beach for swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, treasure hunting, shellfish gathering, and late night penguin hunts are easy access.

    We’ve got a host of activities to keep kids happy and to allow parents to unwind – a large spring-free trampoline, a 'movie room', ample toys and books, and other thoughtful kid-friendly touches and activities.

    The internationally-acclaimed Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park is just meters from the house, the bustling Kaiteriteri beach is just minutes down the road, the amenities of Motueka are just ten minutes away, and the vineyards, galleries, and other Tasman attractions are easy access.

    Guests comment about the generous and well equipped kitchen. The house has multiple living spaces, both upstairs and down and inside and out. There are four comfortable bedrooms across two floors. And everyone appreciates the convenience of three bathrooms.

Beautiful retreat

The bach was spacious, well set out and catered to all ages. We loved the view and the access to the beautiful beach. The whole family enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle board and the teenagers revelled in the downstairs apartment!

Everything you could possibly need

We recently enjoyed a week long holiday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything you’ll need to cook, relax and explore is here. The kids loved the toys, kayaks and bunk beds. Having the beach right at the doorstep made for many hours of exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family home, right on the beach

We had a wonderful time at the bach. It's perfect for families - there are tons of toys for kids of all ages, a large back yard (with trampoline and slides) and it is steps from a pristine, safe beach. Highly recommended for families & kids.

Great stay at magical beach

We had a wonderful holiday at Magical Beach. The house was great for a big extended family to enjoy togeather. Plenty of spaces for younger people to have room to do their own thing while adults got togeather. House was very well set up, with a wonderful open plan kitchen/ lounge and deck for enjoying the beautiful beach views. Out door space and free access to the beach was excellent for the kids.

Birthday weekend away

Our daughter’s birthday weekend away with close family friends. Perfect location and amazing house! Kids just played all day, so much entertainment for kids in safe environment. We had grand parents with us and their room being ensuite made them very comfortable stay. All rooms were so wonderful. We loved it so much and would love to come back soon. Thank you so much for sharing us the pieces of paradise;)

The perfect getaway

Absolutely wonderful batch with plenty of room! We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to this wonderful home, the location is perfect with wonderful sunrises and almost directly backing onto the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park. Whilst we didn't have kids with our group, the house is perfectly set up for keeping little ones busy and has been lovingly setup. Check-in was super easy and well-managed by Nelson Holiday Homes (Sian). We would happily stay at this location again and will certainly be recommending it to friends.

Perfect for a family gathering

We had a fabulous stay at the Beachfront Playground this week. We stayed with 2 families, 4 adults and 5 children and could easily have fit the grandparents in aswell. It’s very spacious with lots of seating, a huge kitchen, big bbq and deck with plenty of seating around a large table to soak in the stunning view and watch the kids all playing below. The house had everything you would need, well stocked kitchen, laundry, kids games and toys, a music speaker, and garage full of kayaks and life vests. It was very clean and has air conditioning for hot nights. We liked that there was plenty of toilet paper, baking paper and glad wrap, dish powder, rubbish bags etc so you don’t have to go out and buy absolutely everything when you are not staying that long. We went fishing a few times, explored the rock pools and looked for mussels and had lots of fun kayaking at low and high tide. The area truly is a playground for all the kids. The huge lawn was great for cricket and soccer and playing spotlight. It’s just a quick drive over to Kaiteriteri beach which is just stunning and the estuary is so perfect for the kids to play and swim in. We would definitely come back. You have created an amazing holiday home!

Another lovely stay...

Love this property; great location and very well appointed to cater for large groups. The downstairs bedroom / kitchen etc creates a perfect degree of separation if you're visiting with friends and need your own area. Communication with the property manager is a breeze :o)

WISH we could have stayed longer!!!

We were so thoroughly impressed with everything about this house and location! It's soo well set up for kids and adults alike. We were so thankful for the opportunity to make use of the kayaks and life jackets etc that are provided. We bought all our mountain bikes and made thorough use of the tracks on the hill (right across the road behind the house!). The separation of the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms/living areas meant that there was opportunity for quiet rests in between all the busyness and fun! The communication from the property manager was fantastic also. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you so much!

A great escape

Great property for family, eg kids and parents can have there space upstairs with the three bedrooms and then grandparents have own world downstairs with bedroom, lounge and bathroom. So many lovely touches and they provide so many extras.

Amazing family getaway

This property is perfectly set up for families of all ages. Our three children are 9 months, 3 years and 5 years. Everything was extremely safe for our crawling baby. The MASSIVE array of toys and books would entertain babies through to teenagers, and the kayaks and paddle board were just fantastic and super easy to get down to the water. The kitchen has everything you need (coffee machine!) and the showers are great. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family holiday

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay. The house has a perfect location and is really well set up for children. It was extremely clean and tidy with a very easy check in and out process. We would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend this house to others.

stunning views and location

we spent three blissful days and nights here with our adult children and their partners. there was room for us all to have some privacy and great communal areas to come together. the kayaks and paddle boarding were our go to activities and it was great all the gear we needed was in the garage. we will be back!

Quiet break

This property has a wonderful view to the bay and was quiet while we were there. Although we had no children with us, in summmer it would be an awsome place for a young family to hang out.

Location location

Amazing beachfront location for a family holiday. Such a beautiful spot with great walks and easy access to other beaches and Abel Tasman NP. The house was very spacious and had lots of toys for the kids, and well stocked with, bikes, kayaks and life jackets. Thanks!

A weekend getaway

Lovely big house, next to the sea- with views to die for- amazing location- handy for Kaiteriteri, Mapua and the wonderful MTB park. 2 ensuite rooms, and a family bathroom- wish i was younger to go on the slides and trampoline! Very well euipped. Had dinner at the eco lodge which was also lovely- for winter we had clear blue skies and 15’ degree temps- a fantastic getaway with friends x
