Relax and enjoy this beautifully designed home within walking distance to White Sands Beach and yards away from some of the finest bodysurfing in Kona.

The main part of the house sits above street level with a beautiful partial ocean view. The entry doors open into the living room where you look out across the lanai and pool to the ocean. The kitchen and dining room and master bedroom share this wonderful view. The master bedroom has a king bed and large bath with marble shower and Japanese soaking tub. It also has its own separate access to the pool. You will love the small inviting ocean blue tile pool with rock waterfall. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with private entrance to the shared bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The studio has a separate entry at street level. It has a bedroom with a king bed , bath and kitchenette. The studio sleeps four with the sofa sleeper and is air conditioned. There is a large flat screen TV and a stereo. It has a large patio and outside seating .

The Base rate is for 6 guests. Additional guest fee will apply for more than 6 guests.

Our host was wonderful and attentive! Their lovely home is a great option for small groups comfortable with a more communal living experience. It was thoughtfully stocked, especially for beachgoers. The kitchen was also well equipped and had extra seasonings and supplies beyond what you’d typically expect, making it very functional for preparing meals at home.The design emphasizes openness and connection, which allows sound to travel easily throughout. The interior slatted doors and screened windows highly contribute to the shared atmosphere rather than a private one. However, they also contribute to the air flow! Even without air conditioning it stayed cool and comfortable with fans and trade winds. The driveway is quite steep and may be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns or discomfort with stairs, so it’s something to be mindful of when arriving and departing. The bedroom pull-down window blinds did not extend fully, which limited privacy in bedrooms facing the roadway or driveway.The pool is a beautiful feature; however, it is 4 feet deep at the shallowest so it may not be suitable for small children or non-swimmers without close supervision. For this reason we did not use it. During rainy weather don’t be surprised if some mist enters through the screened open-air ceiling areas. A quick wipe with a towel will keep it dry. Overall this is a well-supplied, beach-friendly home best suited for guests who value openness and shared living over full privacy.

This house is awesome! I can’t say enough about our stay. The house itself is laid out beautifully and the cabinets are stocked with everything you could possibly need from sugar, condiments, glasses, etc. There is snorkel gear, we brought our own, but could have used theirs. There are a ton of beach towels. There are amazing beaches within walking distance and the restaurants and shops are walkable as well. We were a bit disappointed with the weather, definitely more cloudy in December than we had hoped, but still most day had some blue skies and sun for a bit.

Lock box very difficult to open. Very steep driveway. Heavy chlorine in pool. Hair dryer in primary bathroom not working and TV in primary bedroom not working and no instructions. Air conditioning would have been nice.

Proximity to town while being up the hill for a view was lovely., The house is warm and welcoming. Our host was responsive, Kitchen was well-stocked.: beds and baths as described: roomy, clean. All 6 of us really enjoyed it!!

Host was responsive to any questions I had and very easy to work with. The house was great, it took some getting used to with no A/C and being so open but it cooled off enough at night to be comfortable with all the fans. We didn't get to use the pool much as it was cool and we had a cloudy week, but the location was great with an easy walk to the beach and magics beach grill, as well as the main drive into Kona. Also I'm not sure if it is on purpose or not but there were several cute green geckos that live in the house and left us alone but were a hit with the kids. Had everything we needed and then some. Would love to go back someday.

We stayed for 8 nights and it worked out perfect. The property is beautiful and we loved the pool. It was so nice to walk a short 5 to 10 min and be at a beach. Having beach supplies like chairs, coolers and snorkle gear was also great. Due to a previous guest there was an issue with the toilet in the downstairs room but the owner quickly had it fixed.I couple things to note. The main house does not have AC which we were not used to. My husband is someone who would have ac on even when it is 60 degrees. Lol. But it wasnt a major issue especially since we were out doing things during the day. The other thing to be aware of is the driveway is extremely steep so for those with bad knees or who are older it might be a little challenging. We opened the garage door at the top of the driveway and my dad who is 81 pulled his car in there so it worked out. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others visiting Kona.

Property was exactly as described and catered well to our family of 9, with 5 adults and 4 children ranging from 2 to 12 in age. Really? Well, designed to use the cooling winds and the pool was perfect for afternoon cooling off with the beach and snorkel spot close by. The requests that we had were responded to within the hour each time by a very patient Sarang. Whole heartedly recommend this holiday stay and these hosts in every way.

The property was perfectly located, spacious, and clean, and the owner provided lots of great information about the neighborhood as well as access to things like pool floats, lawn chairs, etc. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been air conditioning. In that part of the world, I appreciate allowing the island currents to help cool the place off, but we couldn't get sufficient airflow through the windows every night. Perhaps higher-capacity ceiling fans would help if wall or window units aren't desirable aesthetically. Still, it felt like an island experience, and I would highly recommend the property. It was great value for the price.

We’ve stayed in several condos in Kona, but nothing compares to this oasis—it was truly amazing! The location was perfect, close to the beach and Alii Drive. The condo was exceptionally well-stocked, not just with kitchen basics but so much more. The garage was a treasure trove with snorkel gear, boogie boards, pool toys, and more. The outdoor deck was ideal for relaxing in the evenings, watching the kids swim while enjoying the cool breeze. With five adults and two kids (ages 10 and 12), we had more than enough space to spread out comfortably. We will definitely be back

Perfect Family Trip

This house could not have been more perfect for our summer vacation for our family of 10. We all enjoyed the beautifully designed, very clean pool. Location was close to beach and other places we wanted to visit. Communication with owner was excellent -- we particularly appreciated the booklet sent to us before our trip that outlined fun things to do and places to see. Don't miss the tour of Mountain Thunder coffee plantation! The entire trip was a thoroughly great experience!

We stayed for a 30th birthday with 3 couples and 2 babies. It was everything we could have asked for. The house is well stocked and once you get all the windows open and fans going it stays pretty comfortable.

Hawaii Family Trip

The property location is amazing, just a short 5-10 min walk to Magic Sands Beach. The pool was amazing and my 3 boys (ages 8,5,2) loved it! There were beach towels and toys at the house. The cooler was great to have on our trips to the Hilo side. Communication with the owner was great and they were super helpful.

Perfect house for a group

We were a group of 5 adults, 3 singles & 1 couple and the setup of the house was perfect for us. The location is very convenient. We loved being in walking distance of a beach and a great restaurant. The kitchen had just about anything one might need and there are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glassware. Nice furnishings, well maintained and tasteful. The owners were very responsive to our communications and the pre-visit information was a treasure trove of great activity suggestions. I really appreciated that extra spices, condiments, ect were available. I hope to come back.
Plenty of tools available to create a celebratory meal.
Enjoyed the comfortable dining area.

Location

Walkable to the beach with enough of a distance that you don't hear most of the local traffic. House had all the amenities needed to get settled in with and groceries were just a 5 minute drive. Clean and lovely.

Great Location and Good for Big Group

Our family enjoyed the location and the pool. Also had a great view of the Sunset. It gets a little hot during the day with no AC but in the evening it cooled off enough to sleep well. The front unit had a AC unit but it didn't cool the space completely. Overall recommend
