Fantastic location and the price was low. In hindsight, I should have spent the money for a nicer place. The condition of complex and the condo show signs of neglect - old paint and other of disrepair. The condo could also use a thorough cleaning. The balcony was nice and the mattress comfortable, though. The complex was peaceful - no issues with noise or disruption from other tenants. Check-in process is a little clunky and the elevators weren't very reliable.

The condo was great! Parking is at a premium so we enjoyed the u/g parking. Great location! Because we were a half block from Ali’i Drive, we could walk to restaurants and the pier. The lanai was large and looked onto the yard of the historical church. Beautiful sunsets from the lanai and since the lanai did not receive any direct sun so you could enjoy it any time of day.

We enjoyed our stay in Kona. Made good use of the Kona trolley that stopped right by the condo. Location was great, could walk or take the trolley to a number of beaches & grocery stores. Only trouble we had was on arrival. We arrived very late at night and had trouble finding the entrance, as was looking for it on Alii Dr. We didn’t see any sign or building # for the condo on Alii Dr. Luckily we found someone who knew the parking lot access was at end of Hanama place.

Love staying at this complex as it is so central to downtown Kona. The condo was clean and spacious with a lovely lanai. I will stay here again if we come back.

My wife and I were in Kona for the Ironman world Championships. The condo's location was perfect as it is a five minute walk to the start line and Ironman Village. Communication with our hosts was good, the parking in the garage was great and the checkin process was super easy. Everything about the condo worked great for us with the small exception of a fan motor on the roof that was going pretty continuously and was most noticeable in the bedroom. We are very light sleepers, but were able to solve the issue by using a fan in the condo to mask the sound while we slept. Overall a great place to stay for the Ironman or anyone wanting to be close in town.

Unit clean and inviting, large lanai. Parking free. Location close to restaurants, easy check-in/out. From this location you could easily just take a bus vs having a car. Excellent email communications with property managers. If you have no clear plans on what to do on the island, this a central place to make excursions from. We will definite consider this place again.

Great, convenient location. The condo had most everything we needed but would’ve like more than one beach towel to use for our stay. Also ran out of kitchen trash bags during our 6 day stay. Only two extra were provided. The in condo washer and dryer was a huge plus.

I enjoyed staying here because of the location. It was also enough off Alli drive to reduce traffic noise. The 4th floor bar-b-que deck has a great view, and I enjoyed eating my dinner there. My questions were always answered by Chuck in a timely manner.

We could not have asked for a better experience for our first trip to The Big Island. Travelling with two young children (6 and 1-1/2) can be a bit of a challenge. Chuck’s condo made things simple and easy for our family. We loved the direct access we had to Ali’i Street. It was literally a 1 minute walk from our condo, down the elevator and out the door of the underground parking garage. Blocks of shopping and restaurants all at our finger tips. We were within a half to 3/4 of a mile of 5 major grocery stores and a bunch of restaurants which was a big plus for us. The Marriott hotel was only a few blocks away and had a great beach with a protected cove. It was a perfect place for our kids to swim. No waves or shore break to worry about knocking the kids over. Finally Chick himself was accommodating, kind and very easy to work with. We travelled through terrible winter weather that cancelled flights across Canada. Chuck checked in on us a couple times. We had the pleasure of meeting Chuck on our last day and thanking him for a great stay.

Wonderful and great location close to everything downtown Kona. We walked everywhere. The view was beautiful and the space was very clean. Chuck is a very responsive and kind host. I was competing in the Ironman World Championships and this was the perfect spot for me. Chuck even was out there on the course cheering us on! When we noticed legendary Voice of Ironman Mike Reilly was also staying at Kona Plaza, we knew we were in a great place. Checkin/out and everything else we needed to do was clearly spelled out for us. Would definitely come back.

The Condo was spotless. It was larger than it appeared in the pictures. It was very conveniently located and felt very secure. Your car is locked in a garage behind a coded gate and very protected. While the view from the balcony was nothing special, you were steps away from a small beach and spectacular sunsets. Great dining within easy walking distance. We would stay here again.

We had the best place to take in the sunsets and then to our surprise the setting of the moon. Amazing Beaver Moon but did not get to see the eclipse due to clouds. If you did not want to rent a car and planned to do your sightseeing by tours than this location is perfect for you. Our place had easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and a slice of beach. The pool is perfect location for the morning sun so no burning yourself right off the bat. We did most of our cooking at the condo and enjoyed having the utensils we needed to do this. The washer/dryer was especially nice to have since we were there for two weeks. Chuck was quick to reply to any issues we had and took care of them immediately. Thank you for a great stay. The only real issue was the maintenance going on throughout the whole compound. But the bright side is the next guests will have new all around them when they come. So enjoy!

This was a nice condo and the owners, Chuck, was very responsive and helpful. The condo was well appointed and has a great location. There was a sump-pump or something similar running outside that was a bit loud at night but that is beyond the owner's control. Would definitely visit and stay.
