"This is our second stay at Sylvan. We really like the look of the hotel. Lovely breakfast area which has been refurbished since our previous stay. Stunning views and lots of choice. Venicular railway to the beach which is amazing. Beach area is a real plus. Staff in all parts of the hotel are friendly & helpful. Especially the reception ladies."

"My stay at the AWA was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the beach with beautiful view. Hotel has a great pool and beach space. Spa is top notch, best Thai massage overlooking the ocean. We were surprised by a nice NYE party, as not all hotels in the island offer one. We were overall very pleased with our stay. "

"Room was a mess it was so filthy there was rat poop on the bed not once but twice in our 5 day stay. I lost electricity twice because the refrigerator and the plug-in kettle were on the same outlet. They say they have Internet access, but the only Internet that they provide is an unstable connection which will not allow most people to log on if their computer requires a secure connection.I spent half my vacation waiting for them to come and fix my room. "Beautiful cabana, very kind staff"

"Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir haben uns im Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt und wollten es am liebsten gar nicht verlassen. Das Frühstück hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt – es gab eine große Auswahl und die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Am Strand haben wir zweimal eine Massage genossen, die wirklich ausgezeichnet war. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder."
