"Stayed at Casa Del Mar in Galveston and overall it was okay, but not quite what we expected. The location is great and convenient to the beach, but the unit itself could use some attention. Cleanliness and upkeep weren’t up to par. I did reach out to the owners, and communication was fine, but it didn’t fully make up for the issues during our stay. Not a terrible experience, just not one I’d rush back to."

"Great location!! We enjoyed sitting on the deck facing the beach and watching sunrise then turning chairs to watch sunset. Enjoyed being able to take our golden retriever with us !! We could easily walk to the beach and drive to the the beach on park on it. I will definitely come back!!"

"What a great house - lots of space and 2 great decks. And, real grass to walk our dogs on which is always a plus. The location in the bay was quiet and your neighbors are not right on top of you. It was easy to get back to the Galveston activities too. We all enjoyed walking on the walkway and watching the birds. We would definitely go back for a relaxing visit."

"The property is located in a nice area. We did have a problem with a heavy ceiling leak...they did come out to service it . The problem persisted through our morning departure. The only thing I had an issue with is that the sofa coverings were very dirty...I laid an extra sheet on it when we sat down for peace if mind. Otherwise the general cleanliness was fine."

"I really liked this place. The only negative was that you could not be bare footed in the unit unless you wanted a black bottom on your feet. Just walking from the bathroom to the bedroom, I got something on the bottom of my feet that left them black. I could not see anything on the floor, but the result was black feet. It is sad, as I would gladly stay again as a solo traveler, but my wife absolutely will not stay there. It is the unknown that gets her. I'd just wear house shoes."

"Perfect for our beach vacation, would book again! We had a great stay at this condo. It was adequately sized for the 4 of us, well-furnished, and stocked with all the cookware and appliances needed to easily prep lunch and dinner without eating out every meal. The location is pretty ideal being just a short, easy walk to the beach and a quick drive to local stores and activities. Highly recommended!"
