The view is definitely outstanding and the location is convenient. What really stands out, however, is the host and the many ways he adds to the experience. The room has been tastefully updated. There has been a lot of thought put into amenities that make the stay nicer and more comfortable such as: L’Occitane toiletries, charging pads at the bedsides, makeup mirror, coffee, Brita pitcher, comfortable seating on the lanai, great mattress and linens, etc. He provides clear and complete information about the rental, follows-up quickly to emails, and leaves handy reminders about WiFi passwords and easy check-out instructions. We have been having more mediocre experiences with VRBO rentals of late (including a stay on the southern end of the island before we arrived here), but this experience has restored our faith in the model. The host has a very good property to work with but it’s his care and attention to detail that makes it really outstanding.
