Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "Lovely and clean, and with all facilities that you can think of and a fab bathroom. Lovely big bed but it was very firm and could’ve benefited from a mattress topper. The access to the property was perfect but as I was staying there alone I would have liked the blind on the door to be wider than the window, it was a bit unnerving to lie in bed and see through the gap! Otherwise a lovely property"

"Great, quiet rooms, bed made every day, fresh towels every day. Room cleaned every day. Actually use bleach to clean the bathroom. This is how it should be. Most other hotels in the area think they doing you a favour if they give you one fresh towel in a week, or claim it it is for the environment not to clean your room every day. More like for their pockets."

"What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. "It was a very nice room in a seperate building at the back of the pub by the car park. It even had a small fridge as well as Kettle and coffee etc. Very quiet, nice location. Looks like a nice pub too but I didn't try it."
