"The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. Thanks for that Roger."

"Beautifully maintained home in a nice quiet neighborhood. House was well appointed with everything you need and so peaceful. I sat out on the front porch on Sunday morning watching the squirrels and the birds and totally enjoyed the tranquility. Overall just a fabulous place and I would recommend highly!"

"Came for the US Cycling National Road Championship. Agree with every other 5 star review. The host made his secure garage available for our racing bikes, which enabled us to enjoy the whole living space without our bikes in it. I wish I’d had more time to explore the riding around Charlston, but the in-city roads were great and, for those who like a bike path, the Kanawha River has a pretty good one. Highly recommend."

"We came to ride the trails. I liked that we did not have to trailer the machines to the trail head on 2 of the 3 trail systems that we went to. Myrna and family are very friendly. Always asked if we needed anything. They allowed us to arrive early and hang out in the plentiful parking area. This allowed us and our pet to stretch our legs while she was cleaning the place for us. Town’s people are friendly and very appreciative of our business."

"The apartment was nice. But the kitchen needed more supplies. No baking sheets for our pizza. No mittens or towels or wash clothes for the kitchen. The towels were new and still had the plastic pieces that held the tags. The mattress needs replacing. Not a single picture on the walls. Needs to few more cozy."

"At the beginning it was rough checking in for technical reasons and Andrew & his team did a great job helping us through it! They were extremely patient & made sure everything was taken care of at the end of the night. We enjoyed the space we stayed in. "The owners were super! Plenty of parking and COVERED parking for your UTV. They had our trail passes ready for us and anything else we needed.(ice,bottled water)Our dog Copper was very comfortable here and loved the dog visits from William and Jennifers dogs as well as the neighbors dogs. It was clean and comfortable. Perfect location for trail riding Bearwallow and Rockhouse. Washer & Dryer made my weekend..I like going home with my clothes already washed!"

"We really enjoyed our stay on Hickory Rd! The beds were very comfortable and the home was absolutely charming. We are hoping to return in the fall and would love to stay here again. The little town area was lovely; don’t miss Lola’s amazing pizza (and more), the Gelato/Coffee Cafe, the children’s clothing and (Amazing) toy store…, the bakery and sandwich/coffee shop. All just a couple blocks away!! Who knew Charleston would be so much fun?"
