"My elderly parents and I were elated throughout our stay in this lovely cabin with vintage flair. It is within walking distance to Cuyamaca Lake and within a short drive to Julian. The cabin is very clean, and it has all the kitchen essentials, laundromat combo, TV, WiFi, etc. We have stayed here before, and we were glad to come back for the peace and tranquility we enjoy in these paradise-like surroundings. "Our family stayed here for a weekend fishing trip to Lake Cuyamaca (about a 10 minute drive from the cabin). It was absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. Our family had everything we could ask for in terms of supplies and “at home” comforts in the cabin. The host was great and very responsive. "The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. "We greatly enjoyed the little house, it was exactly what we were looking for! Everything we could need! Be sure to follow the owners directions to the house, not gps, they are different so trust hers. I was nervous arriving after dark, and if the roads were wet or icy it may have been difficult. But it was a dry lovely weekend. Stay here!"
