Just a 5-minute walk gets you to the edge of JT National Park where you can hike as far as you want. Or walk 1 mile back towards the 62 to the brand-new Más o Menos for a latte or a cocktail. Once back home, sit beneath the stars in the spa, relax by the fire pit, or hit the game room for some arcade action before retiring for the night in Avocado beds.



The Space:

Welcome to Pine Desert Ranch, your serene desert oasis nestled atop a hill in Joshua Tree, CA, right next to Joshua Tree National Park. This large 2400 square foot Spanish-style home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and provides the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. With a U-shaped design, the entire home is centered on a beautiful central backyard courtyard, making indoor-outdoor living and socializing with your friends and family a breeze. Perched beside massive boulders with sweeping mountain views, Pine Desert Ranch promises an unforgettable retreat in the heart of the Mojave Desert.



-Living Area-

Step into a spacious living area adorned with high-end finishes, including exquisite Zia tiles on the false (non-functional) fireplace. The living room is designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring plush leather couches, a large flat-screen TV perfect for movie nights, and a record player with a huge record collection to help set the vibe.



-Kitchen & Dining-

The fully equipped kitchen boasts high-end appliances and Zia tile backsplash, making meal preparation easy. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table adjacent from the kitchen or the outdoor bar tables for an al fresco experience. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and more, ensuring you have everything you need for your stay.



-Bedrooms & Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom features a high-end Avocado king mattress with plush bedding ensuring restful nights between adventures. It also has sliding glass door to its own private patio, perfect for sunbathing, reading, or enjoying morning coffee. The en-suite primary bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a large walk-in closet.



The second and third bathroom are both very private and are equipped with Avocado queen mattresses as well. They share a second bathroom just down the hall, and both bedrooms have easy access to the central courtyard.



Both bathrooms are designed with Zia tiles and modern fixtures, providing a spa-like experience. The primary bathroom’s walk-in shower and soaking tub are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.



-Game Room & Gym-

Unleash your inner child in our game room, packed with a variety of free arcade games, skeeball, foosball, and air hockey. No coins needed! Whether you’re looking to challenge friends or enjoy some solo fun, this room is sure to keep everyone entertained.



If you're looking for a quick workout while on vacation, we have a gym outfitted with multiple benches, a barbell and Olympic plates, and a full set of dumbbells, perfect for getting a quick pump.

The central courtyard features stunning built-in concrete benches on either side of a gas firepit. Enjoy the stunning starring desert nights around the glow of the firepit or enjoy a drink and snacks on the concrete bar tables. Relax in the saltwater spa, perfect for soaking under the stars or cool off in the large 10-foot cowboy soaking pool.



-Surrounding Area-

Pine Desert Ranch is ideally located for those looking to explore the unique beauty of Joshua Tree. Mas o Menos, a new coffee shop and specialty cocktail bar, is just a quick 1-mile drive or walk away. Downtown Joshua Tree's eclectic shops, restaurants and bars are just 7 minutes away, while the blossoming downtown 29 Palms is also just 12 minutes away. The surrounding area offers countless opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, and photography, with stunning desert landscapes at every turn.



-Joshua Tree National Park-

The driving entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just a short drive away, but the National Park is also accessible just a quick five-minute walk from the house, making our home the perfect home-base for your Joshua Tree National Park adventures. Explore the park’s famous rock formations, diverse flora and fauna, and breathtaking vistas. Whether you’re an avid hiker or simply looking to take in the natural beauty, Joshua Tree National Park has something for everyone.

Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours! Please note that there are a few closets that are locked to guests that are being used for storage for supplies for the rental.



The Neighborhood:

Pine Desert Ranch is located in Panorama Heights - one of the most sought-after residential areas of Joshua Tree. The home is located off a paved road, offering easy access to house, with great elevated desert vistas to the west and north, along with the magnificent boulders of the National Park itself. Quiet and peaceful, with easy access from Highway 62 and close to downtown Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. Do note there are other permanent residents (along with other Airbnbs) living in this neighborhood.

Getting Around:

Mt. Lassen Ave. is a paved road, directly off the 62. Parking is ample- pull through the open gate onto the property, and then park in the driveway on the south side (left side if facing the front door) of the house or just park out front in the unpaved drive. Maximum of 4 cars allowed on the property (2 in driveway and 2 in front).



Rideshare apps are not guaranteed in this area - a personal car is necessary to get around.



Other Things to Note:

-Hot Tub & Cowboy Pool Service-

The hot tub and cowboy pool are serviced on Mondays & Thursdays, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the tub.



-Cowboy Tub Availability-

The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.



-Fireplace-

Please note that the fireplace is non-operational - it has an electric log inset in it, but it does not heat.

-Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. ESAs/service animals should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
