You will have exclusive access to the entire Orion Minor house and its surrounding property. While we encourage enjoying the property and exploring Joshua Tree National Park, please respect our neighbors' privacy and refrain from entering their backyards. Please note that off-highway vehicle (OHV) use is strictly prohibited in this area.

Orion Minor offers total seclusion while remaining minutes from the entrance to the National Park and the heart of Joshua Tree.

Getting Around:

This is a remote location accessed via unpaved roads, so please drive slowly and carefully. While a car is necessary to get around, a four-wheel drive vehicle is not required, but be aware that the roads may have ruts, particularly after rainfall.



Other Things to Note:

◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



◎ DOGS: Dogs are welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Maximum of 2 Dogs allowed. No other types of animals are authorized.



◎ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



◎ ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain



◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.
