Welcome to Desert Dawn by Fieldtrip, a modern architectural retreat in the heart of Joshua Tree. Designed in a striking C-shape, the home is bathed in natural light, with clean lines and minimalist elegance throughout. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors connect each bedroom and living space directly to the central courtyard and pool, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living for a seamless, resort-style experience.

The large pool features a baja shelf and an elevated spa with a waterfall that flows gently into the pool below. The outdoor patio is lined with local flora, perfectly landscaped to mirror the geometric aesthetic of the home. Multiple sun loungers line the deck for all-day relaxation, while a built-in fire pit offers a peaceful place to gather under the stars. Outside the kitchen, you'll find a separate area with a propane BBQ, ideal for sunset grilling.

Inside, the home features light wood finishes, warm desert tones, and quartz countertops that echo the white furniture and accents throughout the main living room. The open-concept kitchen and dining area places guests at the heart of the experience, creating an inviting space to gather, connect, and share a meal. With Fieldtrip's concierge services, booking a 5-star private chef is effortless, so you can sit back, relax, and take in the desert views while everything is taken care of.
Set on a private lot, Desert Dawn is surrounded by mature Joshua Trees and sweeping open desert views, yet remains just minutes from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, local shops, and popular dining spots.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

- CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your FIELDTRIP home is now easier than ever. FIELDTRIP's guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you'll find it all here.

- PARKING - Guests are limited to a maximum of 4 cars, depending on size. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk.

- EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate.

- DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers.

- EVENTS / RETREATS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Please note that all events require formal, written approval from the County of San Bernardino. Additionally, an event fee starting at $1,000 will apply, with the final cost determined by the specific scope and coverage of the occasion.

- PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. While we welcome professional media projects, all commercial, professional, promotional, or revenue-generating photography and videography are subject to production fees. Additionally, any filming on the property is permitted only upon receiving formal approval from the County of San Bernardino. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled. Any commercial shoots discovered during or after a stay will be responsible for the production fee.

Located just 5 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree, 10 minutes to the national park, and 25 minutes to Pioneertown, Desert Dawn offers iconic design in a private desert setting.
