A king primary with a chaise lounge and a second bedroom with two queens share a plaster-and-brass bathroom, a good fit for a couple or a small group who want lots to do without leaving home. -Outdoor Amenities-

Morning starts on the front porch, where patio chairs face the desert and the mountains for coffee or a little journaling. Then grab the paddles for a few games on the private pickleball court inside the fenced yard.



The afternoon belongs to the pool deck. Swim up to the built-in barstools, stretch out on a lounger, or duck into the clear dome lounge, piled with cushions, right beside the pool and in-ground hot tub. As the sun sets, gather on the cushioned benches around the propane fire pit and fire up the propane BBQ. Once it is dark, the outdoor projector throws a movie onto the wall of the house, and the stargazing net in front of it is the best seat in the yard. Stay out after the credits and look up.



-Living Area-

Warm wood ceilings and a bold patterned wallpaper wall frame the living room, where a plush sofa faces the smart TV. A vintage-style stove sits on the textured stone hearth as a decorative focal point, and the custom branch-like shelving is a sculptural piece in its own right. Pull a record from the collection, set it spinning and let a board game or a book fill the afternoon.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The kitchen centers on a large island with woven bar stools, a stone backsplash, open shelving, glass pendants and warm wood tones. It is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware and stocked with spices, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Grind the Joshua Tree Coffee Co. whole beans and choose the drip coffee maker or French press, with sugars and tea on hand. A spacious dining table with statement lighting sits beneath the branch shelf, just off the kitchen.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom has a king bed with a carved headboard, an open layout, large windows, a rattan pendant, a wallpapered closet and a chaise lounge for reading or starting the day slowly. The second bedroom has two queen beds, a patterned accent wall, a smart TV and a desk area. The bathroom has smooth plaster finishes, a plaster trough sink, warm brass fixtures and a walk-in shower.

Avira is in North Joshua Tree's Sunfair Heights. The Transmission sculpture, downtown Joshua Tree, the Integratron and the West Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park make good outings, and downtown Joshua Tree has local cafés, boutiques, galleries and a farmers market.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



The locked supply closets are in the garage cabinets.



The Neighborhood:

Avira is in North Joshua Tree's Sunfair Heights neighborhood, about 20 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy. The last 2.5 miles to the home are dirt roads.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Avira is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.
