Immersed in nature, surrounded by the lush greenery of the garden and just 40 metres from the sea and the beach, which alternates with its enchanting cliffs and fine sandy beaches, this holiday home is located in Joppolo on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria in the province of Vibo Valentia. The house is cosy and bright and is located in a private holiday complex that offers for communal use a swimming pool, a football pitch, a tennis court, a children's playground, a barbecue area and a botanical garden full of lush plants and flowers, which is passionately tended by the owners. The house extends over the ground floor and consists of three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, a large living room with kitchen/dining area and a lovely veranda furnished for al fresco dining and relaxing. An external staircase leads to a sun terrace on the first floor where you can relax and sunbathe, breathe in the pleasant sea breeze and enjoy a breathtaking view that offers a glimpse of the Aeolian Islands on sunny days. Optimal location to explore the area: In addition to the characteristic historical centre of Joppolo, which stands on a tufa rock, you can visit, for example, Nicotera (7 km) with its museums and its characteristic historical centre, or Tropea (15 km) beautiful little town on a rock right by the sea, or the beaches of Capo Vaticano. Palmi, Bagnara, Scilla and Reggio Calabria with the National Museum and the Riace Bronzes are also easily accessible by car and train. There are ferries to Sicily from the port of Villa San Giovanni. The village of Caroniti on the Poro plateau with its narrow streets and beautiful sea views is 8 km away and is famous for its fine cheese production and many restaurants offer local cheese specialities. Nearby there are bars, restaurants and supermarkets open all year round.
