"We had a wonderful stay here although there was something out of control of the owner. A skunk had died before we got there so there was a very bad smell in the front of the house which did kind of disturb a portion of our stay and we had to buy a candle to try to mask the smell. We stayed for two night for the day before the wedding and the night after. It had everything we needed and the dining room had enough space for 2 makeup artists and 1 hair stylist to set up. "The host was very helpful and accommodating. They provide more than we expected and have tried to think of everything. There were extra blankets, plates, cups and utensils for children; a pack-n-play. The kitchen was well stocked. The space was well maintained. Finally, the host communicated consistently with us to make sure everything was a promised. I highly recommend this host and property"

"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. "

"I am writing this message to express my deep dissatisfaction with the hotel's attitude. Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at this establishment, but unfortunately, the experience was marked by a lack of transparency and respect for guests. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was asked to provide a deposit of USD 50.00, with the promise that the amount would be refunded within 3 days after my departure. However, 15 days have already passed and the hotel has not yet fulfilled its obligation. This lack of responsibility and respect for guests is unacceptable and led me to question the hotel's integrity and credibility. It is essential that guests are treated with respect and transparency, and that promises are kept. I would like to warn other users not to use the services of this hotel. The lack of responsibility and respect for guests can cause problems and inconvenience, and it is essential that guests are aware of this before making a reservation. I hope that the hotel will take measures to correct this situation and improve its attitude towards guests. Until then, I cannot recommend the services of this hotel."
