Great space for the price

We stayed here for a national softball tournament. The price can’t be beat for the amount of space compared to staying in a hotel for a week. I am avid runner and hiker and the location was close to many great trails.

Best Surprise is No Surprise

Newton’s Nest turned out to be exactly as described. Nicely decorated, clean property in a good neighborhood. A/C worked well in high 80’s heat and additional fan in loft area meant it stayed comfortable as well. Good WiFi and TV, washer and dryer worked well. Hosts responded immediately to questions. Will definitely try to book here when I visit family in the area again.

The property was clean, water pressure in the shower was good, just didn’t care for the Roku tv, I guess I’m just used to cable. Would stay again.

Super cute place!

The hosts were amazing to work with, we got delayed on our trip and they we very prompt to my messages and super easy to work with when we needed a different check in time. The house was super cute and home like feeling. Very clean, with everything you needed and the shower had the most amazing water pressure and lots of hot water for all 5 of us staying there. The location was perfect for all that we were doing and very easy to find. We would defiantly recommend staying here and we will for sure stay again when we come back to visit family again.

Super cute property!

This place is really cute! Lots of nice decorator touches, and has about everything you would need. Beds are comfy, owner was always quickly responsive. Love the coffee bar! Nice little deck.

ETSU visit

This was a prrfect getaway for what our family needed; a college visit at ETSU, evening at an art gallery in Johnson City, a day of disc golf for the family at Winged Deer Park, sweet treats, arcade and an escape room at a neighborhood small town, great local restaurants suggested by owner and a relaxing home away from home to return to for a peaceful night's sleep. Great loction to make it all happen for our 3 teens and a much needed get away for the parents.

House very convenient to ETSU. Wouldn’t recommend for more than two people. Didn’t cook but could have. Kitchen well stocked. Overall recommend.

Great Location Near ETSU

Quite and safe neighborhood near ETSU. The shower has a little trick to open up and let water out, you must pull the handle strongly. Other than that, everything in in this unit is great! I appreciated the cooking utensils and washer and dryer.

We loved Newton’s Nest! This property is so charming- very well appointed with everything you’ll need for your stay. Tiffany was very responsive and helpful. This location is close to everything! We will definitely stay at Newton’s Nest the next time we’re in the tri-cities!

Perfect location

We loved the location of the house so easy to access even arriving later than expected. Host was wonderful, response was very quick. We had zero issues and absolutely love the place! We will definitely stay here again next year when we are in town for BOA competition. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place. The only disappointment I had was, I thought it was a house and it was a duplex. But the place was beautiful and extremely well stocked! Don’t hesitate to rent this place.

Hidden gem!!!!

I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was for us. Family of 4, two adults, two teenage children. Their own “space” is very important to them at this age, and the loft upstairs was PERFECT for them to share! They said it was like having their own little cottage. The location was perfect, a little out of the way but still close enough to all shops, a Publix being maybe 2/3 miles away. The interior was up to date and beautiful! Complete with FULL SIZE washer/dryer, Keurig, any cooking supplies you can think of, all linens provided! I the master bedroom sheets were so soft and comfortable to sleep on! Fairly small bathroom, but it had everything needed and we just took turns making it work. Communication with the owners was phenomenal!! Any questions I had, they responded within minutes. I cannot think of one single complaint about the property!! If you are looking for a home away from home, this is it, I promise you will be more than happy with your stay! If we ever go back to this area, this will be the first place I look into booking for a stay!

Wish we could stay longer

We walked in the door after a long week of travel and VRBO hopping and wish we had stayed here the whole time. It was spacious and welcoming and homey. There was a washer and dryer and everything we needed. We had times of sitting around in the livingroom and kitchen chatting. We are considering planning a trip back to Johnson City, TN just to stay in this place. Everything a VRBO should be and more. Thank you for such a good stay.
