The house was perfect size for our family. It is larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. You could hear the train a couple times- this didn’t bother us. Our only hiccup was the oven would work. We contacted owners and they tried to get it fixed but were unable to get someone out over our weekend stay. With a food allergy we typically meal plan and cook in- with the oven not working we had to improvise, but it all worked out. The stove top did work. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we were back in the area.

We arrived late and went to shower and all the towels were wet and folded. We had to dry the towels before we could shower and not a good supply of towels. One bathroom the tub was not clean and brown on the curtain liner. Pillowcases had holes. The house had a good layout just need a better cleaning crew.

After a little confusion with check-in instructions, everything went smoothly. The neighborhood was quiet, and although there are train tracks nearby, the train did not disturb sleep or bother anyone. Since we were visiting to attend a wedding in the area, we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house. It was a comfortable space overall but the beds were too firm for us. I do agree with another reviewer that the “brand new home” description needs to be updated. Otherwise, the space was good and it was convenient for the wedding we attended as well as being convenient to shops when we needed last minute items.

It was exactly like the photos on Verbo. Great location and very close to everything in Johnson City. Spent a week there for our granddaughters wedding. Will definitely stay there again.

Very, very glad we found this location! Everything was wonderful and very close to ETSU and shopping! A very quite area, and nice wildlife (rabbits and deer).

Mow the grass

First impressions are crucial, and his place did not make a good first impression. First, the grass had not been mowed in many weeks, preventing us from doing anything in the yard. Some of the bricks on the walkway were loose, creating a tripping hazard. I had to contact the host to get check-in information the morning of our reservation. The check-in information was confusing, with numerous special instructions, especially about the door lock mechanism. If you must give people numerous special instructions, it is time to change the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism does not make the door seem very secure either. My family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs over the years and never had a problem with the locking mechanism. We stayed in another VRBO after this one, and all was silky smooth, and the first impressions and overall impressions were great. Moreover, some of the bath towels provided were still damp, making for an unpleasant after-shower experience. The unsecured rugs inside the house curl up every time you walk on them, posing a tripping hazard. Plus, the rugs are unnecessary. Finally, the bathtub in the master bedroom has black spots. The house was advertised as brand new. How can a brand-new house already have black spots on the tub? As I stated, my family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs previously and had good experiences. This place was far short of our expectations.

Quiet neighborhood

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and cozy home. Close to everything but quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view in backyard. Will definitely be staying here again.

Weekend stay From Ohio

While this property is no longer ‘new’, it is a nice newer Construction unit. The unit is in a quiet area but convenient driving range from town and services/stores/restaurants etc.

Christmas in JC

A great stay at an excelent home.

We had a great stay at this property. There is plenty of room, and the home is immaculate and organized. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I wish we had another day to enjoy the outside space, but we were busy visiting and taking in the area. I hope to visit again!
