Mow the grass

First impressions are crucial, and his place did not make a good first impression. First, the grass had not been mowed in many weeks, preventing us from doing anything in the yard. Some of the bricks on the walkway were loose, creating a tripping hazard. I had to contact the host to get check-in information the morning of our reservation. The check-in information was confusing, with numerous special instructions, especially about the door lock mechanism. If you must give people numerous special instructions, it is time to change the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism does not make the door seem very secure either. My family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs over the years and never had a problem with the locking mechanism. We stayed in another VRBO after this one, and all was silky smooth, and the first impressions and overall impressions were great. Moreover, some of the bath towels provided were still damp, making for an unpleasant after-shower experience. The unsecured rugs inside the house curl up every time you walk on them, posing a tripping hazard. Plus, the rugs are unnecessary. Finally, the bathtub in the master bedroom has black spots. The house was advertised as brand new. How can a brand-new house already have black spots on the tub? As I stated, my family and I have stayed at numerous VRBOs previously and had good experiences. This place was far short of our expectations.

Quiet neighborhood

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and cozy home. Close to everything but quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view in backyard. Will definitely be staying here again.

While this property is no longer ā€˜newā€™, it is a nice newer Construction unit. The unit is in a quiet area but convenient driving range from town and services/stores/restaurants etc.

A great stay at an excelent home.

We had a great stay at this property. There is plenty of room, and the home is immaculate and organized. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I wish we had another day to enjoy the outside space, but we were busy visiting and taking in the area. I hope to visit again!

Listing was accurate, location was close proximity to many resturaunts, sight seeing outings, music and grocery stores. Everything anybody would need is no more than 10 minutes away. House was very comfortable for my wife and I, plus our teo grandkids stay wi with us for 5 days.

Cozy Clean Relaxing

Check in was simple house was exactly as pictured. Very clean from top to bottom. No complaints at all really. If anything the flower beds outside but haha thatā€™s all I complaints I could think of. Haha. Place was amazing. Close to everything.

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood

The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was empty however the owner did reimburse us when we got an exchange. A few more pots and pans/skillets are needed along with dinnerware for more than 4-5 people. This is a nice place, it just needs a few details taken care of to make it a great place!

Nice place, butā€¦

Our stay was for 7 nights, so our expectations may be different from a couple only doing weekend stays. The house is cute and the location is great. Itā€™s no longer a ā€œnewā€ home, but rather a 3 year-old home. The Internet is high speed, which is great for streaming videos. On the downsideā€¦ We awoke to a filthy coffee maker. There was mold growing in the leftover grinds and the carafe was not clean. The king bed in the primary bedroom sags because the center and middle supports will not stay in place. The front door cannot be fully secured because the latch plates and weather stripping are missing. And we could not use the fire pit because the propane tank was empty and no spare available. The kitchen has limited cookware, dishware and silverware - just enough for four persons. There were no dish towels, dish rags, or hand towels for the kitchen. There is a small frying pan, but no larger one for cooking bacon and eggs for two or more persons. And the oven could use a cleaning. We notified the owners of all the issues and they promptly replied with nice apologies and assurances these issues would be handled ā€œimmediatelyā€. Preston offered to reimburse me if I exchanged the propane tank, but I feel guests should not be inconvenienced by normal maintenance items. Nothing got fixed during our stay, with the exception of me thoroughly cleaning the coffee pot and grinds holder. This property has so much potential, I hope the owners make it so.
