"I have stayed in a lot of Chateaus- turned-hotels over my years of travel, so I think I can rave about this stay with credibility. It was a 10 out of 10. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet."

The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year.

Voltaria a hospedar-me, swm dúvida."

"Lovely spot, staff excellent, homemade, organic and locally sourced breakfast. Lacked an evening restaurant and options in Chinon in October were a little limited as off season. Great location to explore Chinon wines and Cremant near Saumur. Fontevraud-l’Abbaye was an interesting place to visit."
